The Snipe Nose Side Cutting Pliers have high loadable, elastic precision points. The comfort grip handles are made of two color dual component material. The half-round, long jaws have serrated gripping surfaces. The cutting edges are induction hardened to approximately 61 HRC and will cut medium hard wire maximum diameter 3.2 mm and hard wire with a maximum diameter 2.2 mm.

I've been doing more electrical work around my apartment and in my garage, and my rusty craigslist pliers needed replacement.A friend employed as a lineman told me to buy KNIPEX - and I'm glad I made the investment. These are extremely comfortable to hold and "just right" in every regard. Grippy tips that make it easy to grab dropped screws or wires. A sharp cutting blade that makes it easy to punch through even thick wire. The action in the hinge is perfect: not too tight, not too lose, not at all fatiguing on the hand. One of the few recent purchases I've made where "Made in Germany" still means something: world-class engineering and undisputed quality.I understand the hype around these, and as more tools become eligible for replacement, I won't hesitate to purchase the Knipex equivalent.

Zoals bijna alle tangen van Knipex is deze ook perfect. De bek sluit goed; zelfs het kleinste haartje klemt goed. Via Amazon ook nog eens voor een betere prijs.

I waited way too long to buy these. This will probably be one of the most commonly used tools in just about anyone's toolbox, and it's worth it to spend money to get the best there is instead of fighting with inferior pliers every day.Precise tips, sharp serrations, comfortable grips, light action without play, and a cutter that actually works. Those who complain about flex, they are needle nose pliers. Don't try to tighten your lug nuts with them, even knipex can't break the laws of physics. These are at least as strong as anything else in that size, but better made. I'll retire my channel locks in the kitchen drawer or tackle box.

The Knipex needle nose pliers have been worth the extra cost. In my opinion they are extremely well made. Comfortable in hand, strong and sharp. I have been upgrading my tool set from a more generic box store brand and these are a great tool brand. I am sure they will last a long time.

As a control technician I was contemplating to buy this or the insulated version. in amazon warehouse this is normally stocked not the insulated model and since I was in a rush went for comfort grip. previously i owned both Klein tools J2068C (all purpose) and needle nose VDV026-049.they gave my wrist excessive pain due to hard response it press back against my palm when using them for a long time. the handle alone is a major factor that I go with Knipex also the metal used is more elastic. the comfort grips give a wider grip for holding small parts and pieces. twisting and turning and holding up is comfortable. Both of the Klein models had oil leaking from the joint which is not a good indication.from my experience with some of German and American tools here is how I rank.1.Knipex. Best for - Electronic Pliers - cutters (Mini bolt Kobalt /Twinforce) - Cobra Pliers . knipex set the quality bar very high if others produce anything in their line of work I would not think twice to pick knipex.2. Wera.. Best for ratcheting sets. Joker wrenches. ergonomic handles. great packaging and carry options. the only thing is that I would not buy an insulated Wera if this was not their weak point I would buy their insulated too.3. Wiha. Best for - Insulated screw drivers. tough handles. not so good for packaging( almost guaranteed you will lose some pieces if you own a set.4.Klein. general screw drivers. availability in US and Canada, very reliable. not so good for multi-bits. interchangeable bits are not compatible with other manufacturer heck they are not compatible with other Klein sets.
