KNIPEX’s Long Nose Pliers with Cutter offer elastic precision points and half round, long jaws with serrated gripping surfaces for the ultimate grip. The slim precision tips withstand high demands, particularly bending loads. With cutting edges that can cut medium hard wire up to 3.2 mm in diameter and hard wire up to a diameter of 2.2 mm. Cutting edges additionally induction hardened up to approximately 61 HRC. KNIPEX specializes in the development and production of high-quality pliers and is Europe's leading manufacturer of these products. It all started back in 1882 when C. It may seem silly, but when you use these pliers you can really feel the difference in construction quality compared to the cheaper tools available at big box hardware stores.Whether that's important to you or not, only you can decide, but its nice to feel like you're working with a precision instrument if you use yours regularly.The additional reach of the truly long nose is very much appreciated for getting those items just out of reach of a shorter nose plier.
