Wall & Tile Temperature
The temperature of the wall and tiles should be at least about 70°F for 12 hours before installation and 24 hours after installation. This is very important because if wall and tiles are cold, the tiles will not stick well. During the winter, the wall temperature is usually lower than room temperature so make sure that your walls are warm.
Press All Grout Lines Firmly
Make sure you press ALL grout lines firmly, and try NOT to touch the adhesive side as much as you can.
Recommended Surface
smooth ceramic tiles backsplash, smooth glass tiles backsplash, acrylic wall panel, pained gypsum, wall linoleum, stainless metal, mirror, laminate, wallpaper (if some corners are peeling, just peel them off and install tiles over them).
Non-Recommended Surface
Orange peel texture wall, oily wall, brick wall, stucco wall, stone wall, unfinished wall (gypsum or plaster), unpainted plywood, and some glossy painted walls.
For some very very glossy paiting walls, using extra adhesive/glue/spay may make it stay longer.

Easy to put in. They looked great. A little tricky to match exactly but with focus it can be done. Then a month later everything started to peel away from the wall. You can't just pull them off, as you'll damage the wall, and you can't get in behind them to add more adhesive. So it looked great for a month and now it looks like hell.

These tiles look pretty good. I didn't expect them to be as soft as they are, but nonetheless it's not like I lean against bathroom tiles very much.I tiled around a regular sized tub on three sides, and it took a while. If you think you'll tile around a tub in one hour, think again. The edges could use a little bit more glue, but otherwise even my real estate agent said they look good.

Highly recommend. We were on a tight budget for a kitchen Reno so thought we’d give these a try. It gives a very clean look and was easy to install! Peels off a little if you have a toaster oven close because of the heat, but re-sticks well. We’ve had it up for 4 months so far with no issues.

I’d give five stars if it weren’t for the tacky/sticky finish on the top. Does not wipe clean easily and fingerprints are very visible (I purchased black tile). It would be fine if you could easily clean the fingerprints off but due to the sticky finish it just kind of smears.Edit to add: Has not adhered well at all and the smears are driving me crazy. Ready to rip it all off. I don’t recommend at all

I used this product as a kitchen back splash. It was very easy and nice thick tiles. I bought three pkgs and the one pkg the tiles didn’t stick at all and fell down after only a couple hours and the tiles seemed discoloured. Probably been sitting around a while.

Easy to put up and it looks awesome! It will peel off, soon... I cleaned the surface and even sprayed it with a degreaser. You get what you pay for... I thought I learned that already! Haha fooled again

The LongKing Subway Tile Kitchen Backsplash Peel and Stick Tiles worked great at dressing up our otherwise bland looking kitchen wall. Because we don’t own the home we’re in, we wanted to dress up our walls without damaging them. The peel and stick tiles are essentially large textured stickers. Up close, it’s evident that the tiles are not real simply based on the slight shine of the grey grout. The tiles themselves are slightly textured and are harder to determine if they’re fake or not - I was pleasantly surprised to see that they didn’t look too flat or overly fake - they do rise up slightly as opposed to the grey grout and have a light shine to them. The stickers cut easily so you can customize them as you need, and as per the recommendation of another reviewer, I cut off the “overlap here” area so nothing can be seen through. To cut, definitely use a metal straight edge, a sharp Exacto knife, and a self healing cutting mat - it will make your life much easier. Also, when applying the sticker around electrical outlets, simply remove the wall plate, put the sticker over the outlet, then use your Exacto knife to cut around the outlet opening - the outlet plate can go right on top of the tiling afterwards and no cut edges will be seen. Because we put our sticker on a white wall, there was no noticeable bleed through. Putting up the tiling took two afternoons as we had to order more tiles, and the end result was fantastic - the tiling looks so much better than the plain white wall. The stickers stay firmly in place without peeling up, and they are easy to wipe down when oil or food slashes up on them. As noted before, it’s nice because we can also remove the tiles down the line without damaging the wall. Overall, if you’re looking for a quick and budget friendly means of dressing up your walls a bit, this is a good option to consider.
