I use this book to keep calm and relax, something to do to pass the time while also utilizing my hand-eye coordination. The designs in this book are simple, yet also somewhat complex, but in a simple way, if that makes any sense.. Sections aren't too small, so it's a bit forgiving.Great book and decent pencil crayons to help keep me calm and mind active. The pencil crayons are a bit waxy and can require a bit more force, but that can be helpful when doing some more advanced shading.

I am enjoying these colouring books. I'm not an artist, but love to doodle, it's therapeutic for me. I don't have an issue with the mandalas, by their nature, they have similar patterns, the art is in making each my own. The pencils are ok quality, and perfectly adequate to use for colouring. I do like to mix it up and use markers and one of the books did show bleed through with acrylic colours. I wish both were ring style. It would also be nice if the covers were a little more reinforced. It's a nice set in my opinion and would make a good gift. Currently priced at 24.99 which seems reasonable to me.

It has been quite enjoyable to just sit and colour using this book. I gave it a 4 star rating because I feel the paper quality could be a little better to get the best use out of the colouring pencils

Decent books with decent designs, honestly really good quality, while they are a bit simple and not overly complicated designs to color in, it still has some really nice pieces that look phenomenal with blind coloring instead of choosing your colors, one of my daughters favorite styles to color these. Pencil crayons aren't super insane quality but definitely do the job perfectly fine.

I recently got this two pack of colouring books with mandala designs. It is advertised as adult colouring books, but to be honest, I wasn't really impressed with the designs. It seems like quite simple mandalas throughout the books which aren't very challenging for me as an adult. This is stuff my kids colour all the time. I do like how the books are presented, especially the coil book as it lays flat for you to colour. The set of pencil crayons is quite nice too, lead seems like decent quality and wasn't breaking really easily like a lot of cheap children's pencil crayons do. I do wish there was a more variety of complex designs in these two books. Some easy and some quite challenging. I also think it would be nice if it came in some kind of bag or case for traveling and perhaps a good quality pencil sharpener too.

These are... terrible to be honest. The mandalas don't make sense, have a lot of AI artifacting and garbage, one of the books has paper that only takes water based markers with any decency and even that's pushing it, the ink on the printed images smears to the other page when you put any force on the opposite side (like when using pencils to color) and while the other one has better paper and works decently with watercolors and alcohol markers, the images themselves have so many faults it's no fun to color. And don't get me started on the pencils! Scratchy, inconsistent with no pigmentation whatsoever, they're terrible to use.Go find a better coloring book made by a real artist, even if their paper is amazon quality it'll still be better (and cheaper) than this garbage. You'll find better pencils for less than this pack with more colors too.

I got the apolyone Mandala Adult Coloring Books because my ex-wife said I needed to destress. I have to say that these drawings are actually a good way to decompress. The pencil crayons are decent quality and come pre-sharpened. There are a large number of mandalas to colour. Many seem the same to me so variety comes through your colour selection.

Love that the pencil crayons came nicely bubble-wrapped and all were pre-sharpened so they're ready to use out of the box. No need for a pencil sharpener initially. As for the books, there's a flip page book that features thinner paper to keep everything together, and a ring-bound book with thicker pages that can easily be torn out. That's one thing about the flip book that isn't great. Since the designs come pretty much to the edge of the page, there no room left to create a line and cut them out if you wanted to. The only way to do it is to take out the staples in the booklet, separate the pages and cut down the center of the fold. With the ring-bound book, you can just tear them out, then cut the frills away and voila. As for the mandalas, every single one is either based on the circle or flower petal design so there are no crosses or squares. To the untrained eye, many of them would probably look the same. Fortunately, that also creates plenty of redundancy for experimenting with colour combinations. There are a few mandalas that I absolutely love and some of them come with darker or thicker black outlines than others. The pencils are great too. They're not exactly as "waxy" as some of my older Crayola's, but they still have excellent density and a hexagonal profile so they're easier to hold. Strangely enough, there's even a white one, even though the background of every mandala is white.Overall though, I have to say that I'm a fan of the set. Forgot to mention that the paper texture is also slightly different in each book. The flip-book pages are smoother, while the ring-bound are rougher, so they eat up slightly more colour. But depending on how much room you like on either side of the page, both books are equally as comfortable to colour in. After all, mandalas do invite a certain amount of symmetry so directions are all relative. Five stars.

What a lovely idea! The mandala designs are large enough for use of the enclosed pencils; no tiny parts, curlicues, or areas requiring a set of fine pointed markers or endless sharpening of pencils to achieve a fine point. I really like the wire bound book, although you have to be careful when flipping the individual pages b/c they tend to resist turning & can be easily torn. The colored pencils included have thin leads & produce pretty vivid colors, even with 1 application. They blend rather well; I used a blender pencil to facilitate. There's a good range of colors - enough to make the mandala designs pretty enough to frame. The quality is better than expected. I'm extremely pleased with this product!

Two coloring books and a pack of 24 colored pencils. One of the books has a top bound spiral and the other is a standard center staple binding. The designs are great with bold lines so you're not worried as much about crossing over or mixing up light/dark colors. My main complaint is that there is a "halfway" point in each of the books and the pages flip to the opposite side so you have to "turn the book backwards" in a way. It's very confusing and really disrupts things. I like to flip through the pages and see what calls to me in that moment to color. I can't do that because half of the pages are backwards. However, the pages ARE quite thick and if you're using markers, they don't bleed through. I tried acrylic and alcohol markers and the pages are great with each type. They are highly glossy though so beware!
