This spiral bound book features a collection of sketch and watercolor pages made of nice quality paper, measuring 9 x 12 inches, making it easy to use for sketching and drawing, with the paper appearing to be suitable for a variety of artistic applications, although its performance with watercolor painting is unknown, as it was not tested, but the overall quality of the book and its pages suggests that it could be a good option for artists looking for a reliable and versatile sketchbook, with the spiral binding allowing for easy page turns and comfortable use.

Die Blätter sind gut zum Zeichnen. Meinem Kind hat es sehr gefallen. Er zeichnet jetzt jeden Abend.

This is a classic and perfect sketch notebook. The materials and construction are excellent and the paper is just the right thickness, especially for using pencil and shading. It’s got the right heft and size for sitting on the bench a drawing the landscape around me. Very happy with this purchase and will definitely be buying again once I’ve filled this one up! Definitely recommend and would make a great gift for a young serious artist.

This sketch book is great. The cover/back is tough and will stand up to lots of use and abuse, and it contains a TON of paper so I suspect it will last a long time. The tooth of the paper is good for drawing, sketching and heavier pencil work, but I would probably reach for something smoother if the artist wants to use technical or fine-point pens and pencils. This is a terrific sketch book and, at its current price point, it's a terrific value.

I ordered this Sketch Book 9×12 in 160 GSM Drawing Paper Pad to scavenge it for the paper inside.I go through a lot of watercolor paper making cyanotypes. I've found that less expensive paper tends to work better than some of the more expensive acid-free or buffered paper when it comes to cyanotypes. This sketch book contains 70 sheets. The paper is smooth on one side and lightly textured on the other. Each sheet is perforated so you can remove it from the binding. The actual size of the paper (measured from the perforation) is 8 7/8 x 11 3/8 inches. This paper accepts cyanotype emulsion evenly. Both sides of the paper perform well. The paper holds up to the washing process inherent to cyanotype and dries fairly flat. Because cyanotype emulsion is water-based, I would expect this paper to work just fine with watercolor.
