great quality book, thick pages. some confusing parts where lines don’t match up while coloring but still fun! not a fan of a lot of the pages but there are quite a few i’m excited about. definitely have to like coloring small details.

I have found that whatever COLOR-IT coloring book I have purchased, and I am here to say I have purchased everyone, some several times over but this one just didn’t awe me as the others do. It was a little on the boring side, the pictures were just ok. Quite honestly some of the pictures looked like they were drawn by different illustrators than the normal ones that COLOR-IT normally has illustrate for their books. The plus of this book, like all the others they did include 50 illustrations, all single sided so as to not bleed through on their usual 100gsm weight paper. They also include a cover page of whom the book belongs to and a special page to tear out on the perferated line to use as a page under the one you are working on the further protect your next page from getting pencil marks, ink or whatever medium you may be using in your book. I will stick with other more traditional books by COLOR-IT, the Mandelas and the Tropics. Even the Christmas Book was so much more exciting than this and that one was hard considering all the white in the pictures.

This is a pricey coloring book but the thick pages, perforations and attention to detail are amazing. I’m very much a novice at all things art, but love coloring and bought it to use with alcohol markers. Despite the thick pages and trying to use a light touch, the colors still bled through a bit (it’s hard to see in my photos but look closely). It’s my only complaint but it is pretty disappointing.

OK, so to be clear- i've bought at least 8 of COLORit's books. This is more of a review for the entire brand than an individual book. Here the thingPaper is heavy and super nice-holds color nicely, presentation is awesomepages are pefforated (idk how to spell it) and easily tear outsuper cool index page on some of themthe books like the passport one, and the goddess one, are very intriguing because they led to me learning about the subject matter in the book while coloringso here's my beef-the art is not very diverse, there is a very clear style of drawing, and it all blends together after a while-their catalog of books is so small, i am now looking at DIFFERENT brands simply because they have no more books they offer (im not just talking about amazon, i've looked at their direct website tooso in summary-You'll love this for adult coloring- for kids i would say its a little too high quality and expensive unless your child SERIOUSLY loves coloring.COLORit- put out some more dang books! and change it up a little sometimesthank you for reading this to the end if you did- if not i don't blame you, i never read reviews this damn long lol'
