It's an ok sketchpad but the paper is slightly waterproof so it's not good for anything more than pencil. Shame really as I wanted to use it for watercolours but I don't like the way it holds the paint for ages instead of absorbing it.Pad itself is well made and pages are thick, but it's not good for me, sadly.

This paper is terrible! The only positive is as it says, it is bleedproof, the back of the page is white even when using alcohol markers. However, whatever they did to treat this paper to make it bleedproof makes it also unable to absorb pigment and ink at all. It all just sits on top of the paper which is smooth and plastic feeling, leaving puddles of ink and it makes inks smear. This means that when you use a light color, it picks up the black ink of every type of fineliner and ink I tried on it.Blending colors is incredibly difficult and due to the plastic finish, the only pencils that work well are prismacolor premier.Overall, I would not recommend this marker pad.

The Acidea Marker Paper Pad is a good value. It is great quality with very smooth pages which are a pleasure to draw on. It has good quality coils and a sturdy cover. The pages have no perforations for easy removal of the pages but they pull out fine. I’ve used VERY saturated ink markers quite heavily on it and it does not bleed through. You are able to blend the markers very nicely on it too.I’ve activated the ink with water, treating it like watercolours, and the paper stood up to it a good amount of water. It had a very minimal change in its flatness and it still did not bleed through, even though the paper isn’t as heavy as other marker papers pads I have.I think it’s a good value and definitely recommend it.

My oldest loves to draw and paint. This can be on paper, but also it is nice for them to have a special pad like this 'Pad'. It is the type of thing that would work for a student up to around A Level and any amateur. The paper is thick, but not of the highest quality that my artist partner would want to use. It is thicker than a normal pad at 130gsm, this will prevent bleeding, but not entirely if you are haphazard. At the price it is a good value pad. It has a classic finish and spiral bound. It even has a little image of sunflowers on the front to help inspire.
