If you want the metric stick functions and metric and imperial, this is the one to go for.Still great in the field. I am a welder so heat would be the only concern.

This foldable ruler is perfect for work in all weather conditions. No issues after almost 18 months of consistent use in all weather and temperatures. No fading of measurement markers and no issue with folding/unfolding. Great product.

This is now one of my favorite tools. The convenience of being able to get rough measurements and not have to deal with a measuring tape is *great*

Much better joint action that the old ones I was used to. Hard to find metric rules at the big box stores.
