About this item

  • Suited for 5” dual action high-speed polishers with 5/16” diameter thread and works with foam pads, wool pads, microfiber pads, and sanding pads with 5” (125mm). It was originally made for MaxShine M8S V2, the high-speed DA polisher with 6500 RPM, supporting up to 10000 OPM DA Polishers.
  • The hook and Loop fastener embedded in the backing plate provides a strong bonding with the pad for any heavy tasks. It also allows easy attachment of the different types of polishing pads to stay centered and balanced.
  • The 14mm thickness with heat-resistive Polyurethane material construction decreases vibration and reduces the heat transfer from the polisher, better serving high-speed polishers. The tapered edge helps to prevent contact between the plate and the paint surface when the polisher is leaned to the surface.
  • The center of the plate is embedded with a bolt ready to attach a polisher and embraces six(6) reinforced steel struts to maintain balance and apply pressure evenly to the pad.
  • The six(6) holes vented design offers easy airflow, helping the plate cool and providing great thermal endurance.

The 5”(125mm), 5/16” diameter thread backing plate is flexible and durable, supporting all types of 5-inch pads with high-speed dual action polishers with 14mm thickness, made of heat resistive polyurethane material, which decreases vibration and reduces heat transfer from the polisher, best for serving high-speed dual action polishers. In addition to the material for managing heat dissipation, the six(6) hole air ventilation design offers easy airflow, helping the plate stay cool and providing great thermal endurance. It works well with different types of pads: foam pads, wool pads, microfiber pads, and sanding pads with 5” (125mm). The center of the plate is with a bolt to attach a polisher and is constructed with six(6) reinforced steel struts to maintain balance and apply pressure evenly to the pads. The plate can be used more than 10000 times.
