L'image est très claire. Fait amplement le travail que moi je veux. Plus claire que que des câbles Composite seulement. Moins performent que des câbles HD ou Component, mais lorsque que votre téléviseur n'accepte pas ces types de connections, S-Video est parfait.

So I give this cord a 4 star because I’m not quite sure if the picture quality improves. So I hooked this up on an old Sony Trinitron CRT with the S-video plug in on the back as well as the composite cords. So the picture on the left is from composite, where the background is light and Mario’s colors are darkened and regular looking. Scan lines look normal with some pixelation to the resolution. Now with the picture from the right is the S-video from this cord. Mario and his companions colors pop. They look alittle improved and pixelation is slightly reduced, but the background I notice has darkened. At first I thought it was my tv, but when I switched the cords around it was definitely the s video cord showing the background darken. So I am new to the s-video hook up and I know some people use it on flat screens. Some say it works on the flat screens, some say they don’t. I think this cord is decent for the CRT tvs with plug in to them. I prefer playing my retro consoles on the CRT. I’m not gonna say this cord is bad because I’m getting a different picture setting for sure out of it, but I’m not sure if this is considered good quality picture. I guess the best way to describe it is the cord is sub par. Maybe I would prefer the background to stay lightened but maybe this is suppose to be considered good picture quality back in the day. It’s hard to say. 10 dollars for this cord is reasonable. If you are on a budget and want something that will make resolution better, then this cord may fit in your alley, but for the people who want to play their n64, GameCube, etc on the flatscreen, just get one of those fancy hdmi hookups. Again, this cord is sub par looking on a CRT. Probably the best your going to get for quality since the Nintendo brand cords are considered hard to find.

Looks very clear, with minimal artifacting. Would've preferred more insulation on the S-Video but it actually appears to be grounded properly!

What can I said I'm super super happy with this cable. It really makes my gamecube picture looks amazing. I have an old tv for my retro gaming. This cable will do wonder for ur gaming console.
