The pillow is a hospital pale green shade. The tag within the pillow states it is cotton but it is not, in my opinion. It does not feel like cotton. It is not a pleasant feeling, to me, when touching the fabric. It does not feel like a natural fabric but man made. I'm very disappointed. This is the first time that I've seen a pillow case for this pillow and I needed one. I have not washed it yet to try it out. This is my opinion from sight and touch.
