You could just use a grinder with cutting wheel, however, you don't get the same precision or comfort in your hands and wrists as you do with this little beauty. It has some good weight to it- the only downside is the size of the blades and the fact it really sups batteries.

BonjourMon appareil m’a été livré défectueux, j’ai essayé plusieurs démarches pour essayer de vous le renvoyer sans succès, je n’ai pas réussi donc je me retrouve avec un appareil qui ne fonctionne pas qui est bon à mettre à la déchetterie uniquement sans avoir pu vous le renvoyer ou même le faire rembourser Donc je dirais quelle déception

I bought this will the knowledge that it would be a very limited use tool. After trying it I have used it more than I ever thought I would. The best thing is the small size and the ability to get in very tight areas. Yes, it will.bog down if you try to cut too aggressively, Take your time it will be your best friend. I recently cut some flanges off a display sign and was able to cut it off right at the base with no additional grinding. As much as I love my Makita cordless grinder, there is no way it would have gotten in such a tight area without additional grinding. I also love the ability to reverse the direction to control which way the sparks fly and get them away from your face. Buy a bigger amp.battery ( I'm using a 6 amp) and its an awesome tool

Ho acquistato l'attrezzo due settimane fa ed è arrivato con l'etichetta e codice seriale manomessi, ne ho preso un altro e ho aspettato a fare il reso del primo. Anche il secondo è arrivato con lo stesso problema, inoltre con una lama usata. Senza codice seriale non si può registrare la garanzia, non è accettabile. Nella descrizione non c'è scritto nulla riguardo l'assenza del codice seriale farò il reso anche si questo, sono molto deluso

Works great for small places. Used a 3-1/8 wood blade for hardwood floor repairs in hard to fit areas. Guide plate is a bonus with depth adjustment.

Works good on conduit, but a bandsaw is better. Managed to cut rebar, but it’s under powered for that. Cut through some panel covers without too much difficulty. It’s perhaps could have more torque as the speed can get bogged down in heavier material. When it dies I probably ei t replace it. A band saw serves my needs better.
