I knew in my heart of hearts it was baloney, but I bought it anyway because we were having a heat spell and sometimes my intuitions are just wrong. I thought, well, if the sports people use it there must be something to it. But when companies say "Special technology" or "proprietary technology" I am always suspicious anyway. What kind of "technology" can you have in a material anyway, mini computer chips??It didn't work at all. There was an immediate comfort for about 10 minutes. Then the towel warmed up and I couldn't even feel it. I've used wet towels in the past for cooling off, and this was no better. In fact it dried out quicker than a regular towel. Too bad. I was going to make a cooling vest for my dog. I got really suspicious when they told me you can't cut it in half, because the fibers may not work properly. Huh? How come you can sew the edges then.

Use it exactly as directed, and this baby works wonders! Wet it, wring out the excess water, then SNAP! This is my go-to after a long run to cool my core temperature. I just wrap it around my neck and wait a minute or two. Another tip: keep the container it comes in. You can wet the towel, roll it up, and take it with you in your gym bag (or even leave it in the cup holder of your car) to have that cool towel waiting for you when you get back.
