It works as expected. It catches even the minimum sound/noise. The possibility to turn the volume up or down is very useful. Recommended.

It’s a basic monitor that does what it’s supposed to without any set up, simple to use and easy to take on a trip. Sound quality isn’t great but it doesn’t have to be as long as sensitivity is adequate, and it is. Range for my larger-than-average house and yard has been no issue. I like the temperature reading function. The built in night light is minuscule but at least it’s there and it’s probably good enough. The battery function of the receiver allows more freedom of movement. Don’t need a video to know whether the baby is up. Overall this unit has all the necessary function in cost effective and portable package. Happy with the purchase.

What a waste of money. If there is no sound, it disconnects within 15 seconds. This will not monitor continuously. The sound was crackly, the volume is too low. The volume buttons are confusing to operate.It randomly emits loud beeps at night for no reason. The instructions do not explain these things at all.I cannot believe that Motorola would put their name on this thing. I will not return it. This thing gets thrown in the garbage tomorrow. With both the baby and the parent monitor getting power from the wall outlet, I would expect to have continuous sound output. This unit was purchased to monitor an elderly person who has mobility problems and needs help at night. I am very disappointed in the unit.

Very disappointed with this product from Motorola. How hard can it be to make a basic monitor that works? The buttons don't work when pressed making it nearly impossible to adjust the volume etc. The system is more complicated than necessary to figure out and barely there instructions don't help much. The nightlight is only adjustable from the parent unit which is impracticle. Tried testing the parent to baby speaker- again same problem with the buttons; sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. How can I rely that I can use it to communicate? All in all a very cheaply made product and will be returning it.
