Let’s be honest. Most places now have cell service and phones are so much easier! However we recently went to a remote state park and used these because we knew there would be no cell service. They worked great, held their charge for a long time, and were easy to use. Helped us feel connected to our kids while they explored the area. Could hear everything pretty well as long as others weren’t talking. It was fun to teach our kids proper radio etiquette.

Excellent choice for a long range pocket able walkie. Long battery life and tough!Only draw back is how sensetive the call function is; would be nice to be able to lock it out so I'm not reigning the whole crew for no good reason.

Used these on a recent trip and one of the three would constantly have issues and ring the others. If my buddy did not hold on to the third one I would have returned them but unfortunately I only have 2 of the 3 in my possession

Good for a couple of km in a mountain surrounding.Very useful with my grandkids. Can use both: rechargeable batteries (included) and standard batteriesI recommend these

So I tried these out with my wife. She was at home and I jumped in the car and headed out. I didn't make it more than 30m before the signal was gone. I really want to know the conditions that Motorola achieved 32km. Other than that, they are okay at $37 each. The battery lasts pretty well.

Bought these for my son to connect with mom and me.. they are very well liked. Didn’t get a chance to check the full range yet but the units are durable, connect easily and the comms sound clear so far.
