Performs as described.Really the only issue I have is that you can't jump forward or backwards in the current song playing. (I figured this out). you just press and hold the next track button. Other than that, it plays well, has good battery live, and decent sound.

My daughter loves this mp3 player! It's very easy to add music to and we had fun with that. No registration or IDs needed (unlike with overpriced apple products) so it's very fast and convenient to set up. User friendly and many great options like pedometer and fm radio. The device paired easily with Bluetooth headphones, and so far seems to have a long battery life. Excellent value for the price!

The device is tiny and is relatively easy to use. The radio is fantastic as you can preset your favourite stations (4 or 5) and the sound quality via earphones is excellent. Much better than my iPod nano (which I absolutely love ... Apple you need to bring these little guys back). I haven't down loaded music yet ... trying to figure out how to do that. I tried to download audio books and my computer recognized the device and appeared to download properly but the device said that it didn't support the format. I thought someone stated it did support audio books so I'm a bit disappointed about the mis-information. However, I can use it at the gym once I download my favourite exercise music. It has blue tooth that you can turn off, which is critical for those who don't want to be radiated. Also, it doesn't say how to turn the radio off and I need to scroll through until it realizes I'm confused and asks me if I want to turn radio off and when I say "yes" it does it right away.

Have just received this mp3 player. No impression yet on the player, but the manual is totally useless. It is written in some sort of pigeon English which I assume comes from a translator app somewhere. I bought this to replace my 2 Ipod shuffles. They still both work (after about 10 years) and the only reason I purchased this player was for more space. Apple knew how to build and how to communicate. Their players were easy to figure out, the controls were intuitive, their Customer support amazing and their user manuals were easy to understand. I'm just loading up some music so will see how it goes. I wish someone had included how the lanyard is supposed to attach. Further reviews may be coming, if I don't send it back. Not as happy as I hoped I'd be.Follow up to my initial reviewThis mp3 player has been a real disappointment. I don’t know if the unit is defective and I don’t want another.I didn’t have problems loading my mp3’s but everything else was just aggravating. First, my computer did not recognize the unit. I found something called the “complete” user manual online and it indicated that the problem might be the actual cable. Sure enough when I used another cable there was no problem with being recognized by my PC. Strike 1, company supplies cheap cables. Second, the repeat function. It doesn’t work consistently and is unpredictable. Strike 2 - really? This is such a basic function. Third, the battery drains very quickly. Strike 3, obviously a problem. Fourth, I tried to contact their Customer Service (which I was assured was very eager for any input I might have) and did not receive a response. Add to that the original problem understanding the poorly translated user manual and I’m done. I’m returning the unit and looking for something better engineered.On the plus side: nice size, OK sound for what it is, portable. Lots of storage.

Got this as an "unconnected" device (no wifi) so we have music in remote locations. The device worked perfectly out of the box. Plugged it into the computer, hit "transfer & charge" and off to the races. Screen is comparable to something from the 90s, but it holds music and plays music, which is all i care about. UI is easy to navigate. Can store tons of images too, if you're inclined. If you are looking for anything remotely close to an apple device, DO NOT PURCHASE. This will NOT sync with itunes, spotify, google music, youtube music... And it comes with everything you need - lanyard/clip, cable, protective case, headphones. Even bluetooth worked out of the box - my kid synced it to his Beats headphones almost immediately. Also, i didn't have luck with alternate charging/transfer cables, so used the one in the box - works perfectly. Finally, If you've been streaming music for the last little while, the hardest part will be finding mp3s to download and/or ripping all those CDs you have in that box collecting dust in the basement. Get one before they're gone.

So far battery has been outstanding. I fall asleep at night listening to music and when I wake up next morning it's still going strong with plenty of battery left.Once I figured out how to select a premade EQ setting, the over-all play back sound quality was very satisfying.The size threw me off at first, I thought it was going to be bigger. SUPER happy it was smaller as that's what I wanted! It's a very cool looking little unit and came with a great lanyard strap.It's been very easy to drag and drop songs into this from my laptop, but I can't seem to figure out how to make playlists. The set-up book that comes with it doesn't show you either. But for my usage (walking, going to the gym, sleeping to music) that doesn't really matter as there is only music I love. But if needed, easy to skip song. The shuffle function works great. The internal speaker isn't that great when outside in a noisy environment, but indoors it's fine if you just want a little background music.Overall a outstanding value! I do wish it had just a little more bottom end. So if you want something that has a TON of bass, this might not be a player for you. However, the sound is great and has a clear even sound to it. When paired with my Alexa it sounded very good, although I had to turn Alexa up louder than normal with the JOLIKE turned to full volume.This would be getting a 10 out of 10 from me if it had a bit more bass, an easier way to make playlists and a bit better Bluetooth volume. Besides those VERY minor flaws, I would give this a 9 out of 10. And I would definitely recommend to a friend or buy another one if I some how lose or damage this one.
