I watched a youtube video from “This Old House”, which used a similar set up to clean windows— using water, a few squirts of Fairy or Dawn dish detergent and these great tools, my sliding doors and windows are spotless. I love this product!

I ordered this and when it arrivedvI was very disappointed. The handle was broken. The lid cracked. Everything was very cheaply made. If you want something that is quality this isn't it.

Other than the squeegee, it's as described and does it's job.However, the rubber band on the squeegee is too long, so there is no actual seal between it and the window, or whatever causes a better squeegee to actually scrape the water off of the glass.Even the handle is not at a good angle to clean windows with a sill underneath. I even went through the trouble of taking apart my old squeegee and swapping the handle of this new one onto it. However, one you got anywhere near the bottom of the window, your wrist will not physically bend the right way to maintain the seal to the bottom (and if it does you have bigger issues to worry about). Yes, you could just always squeegee from side to side, but having the option to go down is sometimes necessary for a good clean.TLDR: the squeegee just did not work. Make sure you get a better squeegee if you do buy this kit. Everything else was good, but the lid is a bit useless as the bucket isn't tall enough to hold things upright with the lid on it.

This is a great package they certainly made the tedious task of washing windows easy.My only complaint is the rubber on the squeegee always slides out of place
