The accuracy of the water flow control for these irrigation parts is not consistent, and the titen readings are not correct. To ensure the correct amount of water is flowing, I have to regularly check and adjust the flow.

Excellent molded parts.Easy to use (utilize a pan with hot water to soften the pipe it saves a lot of effort and makes great connections).

I have more than I need. 110 pieces... for less than $7. Easy to control the amount of water coming out. or turn it off. I replaced all my drip heads with these. Highly recommended. Can't go wrong...

The nipple is fragile so you have to put it in straight and don’t slip or else it easily breaks. There’s so much in the bag I don’t mind if half of them breaks. Also it is noisy when tightening the head to low water flow.

Price is good, so shouldn't expect too much. The barb stems are weak and will break, so follow the on line directions and heat up the drip line end before trying to push the barb on.

I use these extensively in my watering system, and in general they work reasonably well. However the barb on these is weak and easily breaks off when I try to insert it into the drip line (1/4" outside diameter). I found that if I have a cup of very hot water and immerse the drip line into it for about a minute, it softens the plastic and I can then push the barb into the drip line without breaking it off. My first order was from a different seller and I did not have that problem. The emitters look identical, but quite clearly are not - or it is a different batch, can't tell which. The seller says that they don't clog, but in fact they do. If I set the flow to anything much under the maximum rate, I find that the next time I water, the emitter flow has decreased to either no flow at all, or a very slow drip which is well under what I need for that plant. As a consequence, I either have to have pretty much full flow, or adjust each emitter every time I water. I found that if I open the flow to maximum, or even take the cap off, it clears the emitter and I can re-set it to the flow that I want and it will hold - until I water again. Then I have to repeat the process.Years ago I had some barbed valves that work like a tiny faucet at the end of the drip line. With those, the flow could be adjusted and they worked well. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find those again and these seemed like a reasonable replacement. And they are, but with limitations. Don't forget the hot water hack, it works. One last tip. I use a small weight at the end of the drip line emitter to hold it in place since they are so light they are easy to dislodge.
