This starter tray sets are made with sturdy plastic, the moment you see them you know they are solid. I especially like the domes because they are of good height, allowing the seedlings to stretch out instead of getting bendy. The plastic material of the domes is worth mentioning, they are similar to the meat packaging trays from supermarkets, so they are much tougher than the typical flimsy domes from the big box stores/nurseries that breaks easily.The built in lights (with timer option) are sooo convenient as you can get away with buying grow lights separately. However I am confused with what color lights is good for what but that’s another topic of discussion.In the past I listened to other people’s suggestions to “make use of what’s in the house” by using all types of plastic containers/trays/cups and created my own mix shift starter trays to germinate seeds; not only were they unsightly and messy, the results were just plain pitiful. What a waste of time and efforts. Well no more of that because summer season is short. I am determined to properly germinate my seeds with the right equipments/tools. I am confident this starter tray, together with heat mats and grow lights (yes I bought both!) will bring me the long yearned for success. At time of review, this 2 pack is priced at $41

Great way to get these starters seeds on their way. The plastic is quite sturdy and you won't get the impression that it will bend and crack at first sight.The trays come with USB powered grow lights. You can modulate the power intendity but I was not able to make them change light frequency like they show on the site. The lights are located on the extremities and the plants seemed to prefer these spots. Strips would probably been better.Comes with a double bottom drip pan to help out the watering duties.Works great with a heated pad for the hard to start peppers and tropical plants

Very sturdy trays better than any that I have purchased elsewhere. These trays do not bend and the lights do have a broad spectrum. The booklet on page five it says to put the absorbent mat on the support tray, just to note there is not a mat included. Great product. Thanks.

I'm using these seed starter trays to start my batch of hot pepper plants. Perfect size and easy to get started. The integrated grow lights save space and ensure maximum growth. Comes with everything you need to get started. Great product idea!

These are unreal. They had seeds germinating in DAYS that normally take 1-2 weeks. The growth is actually insane!! I would love to get more for my collection.

Not enough grow lights to cover the total seed bed tray.Would not have purchased this product if, I had known before the purchase.

Great product. Worked great. I had no issues. It could use a third light in the middle of the two that come with it.
