Price was good what I was expecting. If you're careful & wash out gently after uses, can be reused a few times.

It’s December 23 but never mind Christmas, I just got these seed starting trays and now I can’t wait to start some seeds in the spring!I have never had seed starter trays where I could monitor the growth or the health of the roots the way I will be able to in these trays. I can also check the moisture from top to bottom on every little plant without disturbing anything. I do have trays that accommodate 50 seedlings each but they are not as deep as these Hocloa ones. Now my little guys can become bigger and stronger before I set them out. These clear cells will very much increase the enjoyment of being a plant mom, too. I have placed cane sugar crystals in the cells so you can see how good the visibility is.I assumed that these germination trays would be fairly disposable, but they are sturdier than I expected. They won’t last forever but with care they should last a few years. In the past I had been using germination trays with 50 cells per tray. Usually I’d put more than one type of plant in each tray because there were just so many cells. Having only 12 plants per tray give me much more flexibility. For example, if the plants have been spending daytimes outside in these starter trays and then we expect colder weather, I’ll be able to leave the hardy peas outside, I can bring the delicate tomatoes inside, and leave some other plants in the garage until temperatures warm up. I also like experimenting with my plants so having only a dozen in a container at a time allows me to play with more variations. I have already put in an order for more.
