This stuff is great for sealing just about any kind of leak, gap or hole that isn't under pressure. I like that it's easy to cut with just scissors and it has an excellent adhesive. It claims to be weather proof, so should lend itself to exterior fixes. It's also very grippy. I tried making a mouse pad for a specific, limited area and found it was not slick enough to allow a mouse to be moved across it. Nothing against the product. Only proves it would make a slip proof non-skid area.

Stick-on rubber like this is great for adding to anything from cutting boards to plates to mugs for preventing slippage on smooth surfaces, and this works great. It doesn't "stick" to the surface, but prevents sliding motion without some good force behind it.
