Been using this for a couple seasons and realized I should write a review. When something actually work well and lasts, we need to promote the product to push out the designed obsolesence products.I replaced my commercial priced hunter controller with this for 1/3 of the cost after it broke after one year and this is much, muuuuch better. Really easy to install, program via the phone app which works awesome, I go through the cycle of 6 zones for 5 mins but 4x (20 minutes total) so it gives a nice soak in time. I can run a cycle/zone or cancel from anywhere in the world for as long as I want, it’ll factor in wind and rain if you want. It’s as easy or as customizable as you want it to be. Want basic? Done. Want intricate and complicated, it can do it. Setting up a sprinkler head? Run the zone standing in front of you without having to go inside and to start/stop. A great product, if you need a controller-buy it.

So easy to setup. You can use automatic watering, or program the watering in the old fashion way. I only installed this yesterday, but already love it. It is not waterproof, so if you want to mount it outside you’ll need a waterproof box.

Après quelque temps de fonctionnement je suis satisfait. Les fonctionnalités sont riches, facile à installer.Il est juste dommage qu'il ne soit pas vu par Alexa comme un objet connecté, mais bon ça fonctionne quand même via Alexa.

I had an archaic controller with sliding switches, totally analog. My sprinkler company had been listing digital controllers for hundreds of dollars, I was skeptical this controller would work so well. The price was great, I figured I'd take a gamble on it.I was greatly rewarded on that gamble - the controller was very easy to install, a diagram to map the wires from my previous controller to the new Netro one made it an easy switch (improvement suggestion: include some wire labels to wrap around the wires to label them). Easy pressure switches made it easy to just push the wires in. No electrician skills required. I mounted the controller on the wall, plugged it in, downloaded the app, I was up and running in 20 minutes.The app works great, I created my watering zones, added photos, set the approximate size, whether it was grass or flower beds, location (used for weather forecasts) and gave it a test run. Very easy.I immediately saw the benefit - the app uses the weather forecast and automatically skips a sprinkler session if rain is upcoming, or if it's rained recently. I'm no longer watering when it's raining out and it saves a lot of water. The controller will pay for itself quickly.

I got this controller to replace the old hunter sprinkler this year. Really liked the simple installation for the controller and the ease of use for the mobile app. The folks from Netro did a great job to empower the little device with cloud technology. Not only I can remote control the sprinkler (saved me quite some running around when it's time to push the water out for winterization), but also I can let the smart feature schedule the water time for me based on the weather forecast.I believe I got the value for my money and strongly recommend this little device.

After extensive research to determine which irrigation controller I would get to replace my 15-year-old Weathermatic, I decided on the Netro Sprite-12. I have 9 zones and 4 of them are on a steep slope. This controller will split the watering time into smaller intervals which allows for each interval to soak in before getting additional water, thus reducing runoff.The Netro was very easy to install. I downloaded the app to my phone, I took a picture of the wiring on my old controller, ensuring it was good enough to distinguish the wire colors and zone number each was connected to. Removed the power and all the zone wires, removed the old unit from the garage wall. I then mounted the Netro to the wall and fed the wires into the cavity, trimmed, bent and zip-tied the wires for a somewhat neat appearance, then powered the Netro on and setup the app. It took less than 20 minutes from start to finish.I purchased the Netro in Jul 2022 (3 months ago). It has more features than my old unit and it controllable with my phone from anywhere. There are many features that I do not use (yet). I would like to get a couple of sensors in the near future to augment the system. It works as expected and I highly recommend the Netro controllers.

I replaced my Hunter Pro-C (PC-300i) unit with this new Netro unit in about a half hour. Most of that time was using my label printer to label the wires from the Hunter unit and removing it from the wall of the shed.I included pictures of the old unit in case anyone else has the same one and wants to know if it was compatible (that was my main question).I had a leak in my supply line in the back yard. Being able to switch the sprinkler zone on for 30 seconds, see where the water is pooling up, dig, turn it back on and follow where it's bubbling up, and repeat was SO MUCH QUICKER with the app. Otherwise I'd have to run back and forth from the shed to the watering zone.My toddler also loves running through the sprinklers and it's great to be able to just switch them on without going into the shed is great!Other than that, this thing gets the weather forecast. I've set it so that if it is supposed to water today but it will rain tomorrow, it'll skip the day before a rain and the day after. This will help save water and is just plain cool! There are more features (like the ability to add photos of the different stations) that I haven't set up yet. I have a buddy with a DJI mini and I'm going to have him take aerial photos that I can label so I know what stations are what (the previous owner had labels for the zones, but they aren't super intuitive).Edit: The price when I purchased this was $159.99+ free shipping. It recently went up to $199.99. I have also found a few of the weather providers to be inaccurate when it comes to rain. I am using the OpenWeatherMap one and it seems to be accurate enough now.

Just a very easy product to use. Install was very easy to do. I already had a controller that was just a basic timer but I wanted more as I was tired of being the guy that watered the lawn when it was raining outside. Set up took about 15 min and I was taking my time to make sure that I did everything right. The app is very intuitive and honestly if you think that a setting might be missing just look around a bit more and you will find it. For example I wanted my sprinklers to run in the morning. But they were running when I wanted to get ready for work. Showering with the sprinklers on is not a fun experience. I thought wow this automation is good but couldn't I give a time period for them to run during? Sure enough a little looking around the app and I found the setting. Now the yard is watered before I get up in the morning and all is right with the world. The other features of the system are great. The feature where you enter what you are watering for each zone and the soil and just let the system go made me nervous at the beginning but I thought I'll give it a shot if anything I can trigger the sprinklers through the app when ever I want. But the automatic system is doing a great job and my lawn looks great. For the price this system exceeds my expectations.
