Big performance in a small form factor. Used only once, battery AGM type sitting for months charger selection showed the correct settings and status of battery. Charged up from 20% to full in a reasonable time ( did not time it) during an afternoon. Good display screen no manual buttons. AGM , lead acid, lithium required different settings (who knew) . Ruined one AGM with my old Charger. Get this one. Liked that it could be left on for maintenance. There’s a repair setting not needed in my case and setting are automatic after connecting to battery, instructions are easy to follow.

I'm using this 15amp charger on two12V 100AH LifeP04 batteries. So far, so good. The charge rate on my batteries was 14A+ so pretty close to the advertised 15A. The voltage on the display is .3 - .35 higher than actual. The display turns off after a period of time but continues to charge. The cords are long enough. The fan is noisy but it needs to be cooled. This 15A charger charged a 100AH LifeP04 battery from 10 volts to fully charged in around 7 hours. I've run this charger for about 15 hours total and it still works. Lastly, when I opened the box for this charger there was a heavy solvent like smell. The smell continued for quite a while during first use when it got warm. The smell is most likely release agents that are used in the plastic molding process. The poor schmuck running the molding machine at the factory must be high on fumes all day.

Using as a battery tender during these cold winter days. Gosh that engine rolls over a bit harder

I've only used it twice so far, and only with LiFePO4 batteries, but so far it seems capable. It seemed to charge at advertised capacity and proper voltage. The battery wire seems a bit small to carry 15A at 12V for very long though, so watch out for wire heating on really large capacity batteries that take Max current for a long time. The fan is a bit loud, but not too bad, and better than having a device overheat. The battery clips seem relatively sturdy, at least compared to some. The display is easy to read. The range of temperatures that do "normal" charging is pretty narrow, as winter or summer modes trigger over a wide range. So not sure how that affects performance overall. It ran in Winter mode in my garage. The battery cable is very short - only about 18" - would like to see that a bit longer - maybe 4-6ft. I wish these devices had more flexible cable attachment options too. A large Anderson type connector with several pigtails with different battery connector options would be really useful.I wish it could "wake" a battery with BMS shut down. I have one or two batteries with BMS that I've had to "zap" after a discharge cycle.I will update my review again when I've had a chance to try it out in more situations.

Really cool charger, I’m a red seal auto tech so I need one for work and so far it’s been doing well, we will see how it handles daily use for the next few years but for the price this thing is awesome.

This battery charging device is really nice! Upgrading from a 30yr old trickle charger and this is really impressive. It is easy to use and has multiple options for different kinds of batteries for different uses. I charged and used the repair mode for my motorcycle lifePO4 and my lead acid car battery. The connectors are good, easy to attach and hold well throughout the charge. I was really impressed with the touch ability no buttons or toggles. And it looks really nice, easy to find with the bright yellow color as well. The screen is easy to read and select the different options. It seems to take less time than my old charger and I like that it shows it working. Great value for the money.

Compared to my old single function metal box type charger this one is so much better offering the different options and being able to handle lithium batteries as well. Compact and light weight it's easy to set up and use. The cable to the battery is only about two feet long so it does have to be positioned close to it. The display is large and clear except for the little icons across the bottom indicating the option that's chosen. Considering that's a very important setting they should be much larger though.Tested with a regular car battery, a deep discharge one and a lawn tractor one it handled them with no issues. Don't have a lithium one to test but that will change now that I have a charger that can handle them. When charging the display will say "FUL" when complete and will eventually display "OFF" if the battery is left connected. It must manually be switched to trickle charge option if that's what is wanted. The voltage displayed appear accurate as they agree with my multimeter readings. There is a warning in the manual that it's "not suggested" to charge a battery while still connected in the car as the desulphation phase may have "potential damage" to the car electronics. It looks like using it as a booster is a use at own risk proposition (though it's not really designed for that). An all around nice little charger.

I have an older Noco Genius 3500 for sometime, used mostly to top up our second car's battery once in awhile since it is only driven occasionally. These days, with all the electronics drawing current in the car even when it is not running, I top up our primary car's battery almost every week, as per recommendation from the dealer. The Nexpeak NC215 is a significant upgrade to the older Noco in terms of function. My review is based on my experience with the Noco and a comparison of the two.The Nexpeak is made of hard plastic. Although it appears to be well built, it does not have the same rugged feel as the Noco. The clamps have a strong grip, but do not have the alligator teeth. There is a large bright and colourful informative LCD display. Charging voltage and current are digitally displayed. There is a single touch spot on the screen for mode selection. The charger can be used to charge 12V and 24V lead acid and lithium iron phosphate batteries but cannot be used to charge 6V motorcycle batteries.Using the charger is simple and straightforward. The charger is to be connected to the battery first before being plugged into a power socket. Once it is connected to the battery, it identified the type of battery it is, and shows the battery voltage and ambient temperature (used to adjust charging current for optimal charging.) The percentage power left in the battery is displayed in a 4-bar battery symbol. The charger defaults to regular automatic charging mode but this can be switched to trickle charging or repair charging. The charger automatically starts charging when it is plugged in. The manufacturer boast about a 9 stage charging but my impression is this is what the Novo charger does without specifying it. The only exception is the initial desulphation stage. Regardless of the health of the battery, the charger seems to start all charging process with a desulphation stage lasting a few minutes. The LCD display shows dFS during this stage of charging and nothing else. With a voltmeter, I noticed that it is a process of cyclic pulse charging starting at 13V gradually going up to 14.5 V. Hypothetically, this process can prolong the life of the battery but I am unable to verify it.Regular charging starts after that with the maximum voltage reaching 15V and maximum current reaching 11 A on our hybrid SUV battery. Once the charge in the battery reaches 75%, the charging current is gradually reduced to 6-7 A until fully charged. The charger then enters into intermittent trickle charging mode. After about 15 minutes of charging, the LCD goes off with only the mode selection spot staying lit.During the charging process, an electric fan is on constantly from the start. The exhaust air is a little warm but the unit is cool. The fan is noticeably loud although not intrusive since the unit is next to the car is in the garage. The Noco charger does not have a fan and the unit feels only mildly warm while charging.I am not sure if the built in fan in the Nexpeak charger represents a good safety design or is needed because the internal electronic components are not of optimal rating for the high current. A mechanical fan is an additional failure prone component! The Noco charger does not have and does not seem to need a ventilation fan.I left the Nexpeak charger connected to the battery for 2 days with no problem. I had kept the old Noco charger connected to our car's battery for a whole month while we were away and battery was maintained in tip-top shape when we came home. I will try the Nexpeak charger in our next long trip. Will report here if there is any problem. All in all, this is a good versatile and easy to use automatic charger with a very budget friendly price compared to the Noco.

A bargain for the price, but plastic case means it will melt down whenever the fan fails. Output shows 15.4 amps but meter shows 14 amp. Only used on LiFePO4 battery so far. Big screen with some tiny icons that I can’t read even with glasses on!

As I traveled abroad my car stayed for over 6 months and the battery dropped to only 2.5 volt. I took the chance to charge it up and bought this wonderful charger. It is indeed a smart and wise charger. Leave it overnight and woke up to see fully charged. Engine started and everything goes thumb up. Really worth buying it and definitely recommend to anyone in need.

I had used NOCO branded chargers in the past I had a NOCO one that went out which is what this replaced. I figured I would give it a try as the 5amp version from NOCO is around 60 and the 10amp is close to 100. I’m very impressed by this charger I keep it plugged up under the hood of my corvette on trickle charge and it works great. I actually just ordered a second one so I don’t have to unplug the one on trickle to charge other batteries. It is very easy to use and the touch screen works well even in very low temperatures. It charges quickly and the desulfurization and pulse repair are nice as many brands do not have these features. The case does have a fan so it’s not waterproof but the design of the charger looks nice and feels premium especially with the touch screen and big display.
