Works great, my battery was dead and boosting it with an external battery would not get it to start. Bought this on a whim and connected it over night. Car started without issue the next day.

Super compacto y el funcionamiento es perfecto. Muy discreto, pero hace su trabajo y sobre todo recarga y mantiene baterías sanas. Además el montaje de pared le da una ventaja enorme sobre otros.

Had one for my motorcycle for a LiFePO4 battery and worked great vs Motomaster 3A that eats batteries. Bought another one for the boat's Deep Cycle as again had issues with the Motomaster one and paid way less on Amazon than I did the other one. I can leave it on the battery even when it's not charging, and it doesn't draw amps. The Motomaster one would drain the amps preventing it to crank if I left it on. Will probably buy 2 more in a near future for the other toys.

My landlord has his car here for storage but needs it every now and then. I was about to take it out to keep the fluids going and found out the cars dead. Tried a different but popular brand battery charger maintainer and after a jump start. Let it charge overnight. Woke up to try it again and found out it was dead still.Got this shipped same day and immediately it started charging the battery without needing the force charge. Let it sit overnight and surprised the performance was much better. Yes it's slowly charging (box says 30 hours or more) but the connectivity is reliable and strong. Temperature I noticed was warm but not hot. And checked on it again and saw the indicator went to above a quarter charged which is already much better.Small and powerful, it will charge batteries from dead but it is a slow charge. Very much value for money when it is on sale but it works so well I'm going to use it on my weekend car that sits in the garage or maybe buy a second one because it works so well and has options for other kinds of batteries!

Amazing from cars which are staying in the garage, or arent completely dead. It is hard to get it to detect a completely dead battery, and trying the manual mode to work is something I was unsuccessful with. Keeping this as for regular use it is amazing, especially with its small size, it can fit right in the hood

Hay mucho que considerar al cargar una batería de auto, éste cargador es ideal para varios escenarios. Lo compré pues muchos autos nuevos con baterías AGM no deben ser cargados con un cargador que no diga expresamente ser para AGM, de otra forma puede acortar su vida.Este cargador puede usarse con baterías regulares de plomo-acido, AGM, litio y hasta de 6V. Tiene indicadores para polaridad invertida, batería dañada, además de nivel de carga en 4 niveles. En ésta versión de 2 amperes (Noco Genius 2) una batería que marque el primer nivel puede tomar mas de un día en cargar, pero lo hará extendiendo lo mas posible la vida de la misma.Para autos que no se utilizan mucho, es indispensable un cargador como éste, de lo contrario la batería se puede dañar por la falta de carga, así se arranque el motor cada mes, pues no es suficiente, particularmente para las de plomo-acido. Incluso autos que solo se usan para trayectos cortos dos o tres veces por semana, la carga que obtienen no es suficiente y terminan descargandose y dañandose si no se hace algo al respecto.Por el tipo de carga que generan éstos cargadores, se pueden recuperar hasta cierto punto baterías que ya fueron indebidamente descargadas mas allá de lo recomendado. Las AGM son las que pueden resistir mas, una de plomo tal vez no se recupere al 100% pero se puede extender un poco su vida. El hecho de que cargue lentamente es precisamente para extender la vida de las baterías y mantener cargadas las que no se usan. Si requieres un arrancador o una carga rápida, ésto no es el producto que necesitas. Las cargas rápidas terminan disminuyendo la vida útil de cualquier batería.Es un producto excelente para museos y colecciones de autos, garantizando que autos sin mucho uso estén siempre listos y que las baterías no pierdan su vida útil. Se puede comprar el accesorio para conectar permanentemente a la batería y dejar el conector tapado pero accesible para rotar el mismo cargador entre varios autos, dejandolo un par de días en cada auto.Yo lo compré para un auto que casi no uso y como tiene batería AGM, no podía usar mi cargador/mantenedor viejo. Lo recomiendo bastante, luego de una carga se puede desconectar y permanecer meses sin usar y arranca a la primera, aunque lo ideal es dejarlo siempre conectado si es posible. Cuando ya está cargada, se mantiene en modo de espera.

The pandemic situation has me working from home now. I don't drive my SUV as much as I used to and it can sleep unused in the garage for days. And if I use it, it's for a quick drive to stores and not long enough drives to fully charge the battery. Once I had to use my portable booster as the battery got too weak over time and I want to avoid this situation as it shortens the battery's life. The Noco charger is the next best thing to keep the battery in tip-top shape and since my SUV is in the garage at all times, it's a well sheltered area. Pop the hood, connect it to the battery and it goes to work. I don't have to worry about my car's battery anymore. I don't need the bigger models with faster charging. Just one I can leave on overnight to keep the battery charged. The cabling is quite long so it's easy to reach a power outlet. The eyelets are part of the clamps so it has the option of a permanent install for quick connecting (something I'm considering). It took overnight to fully charge the battery as it's only 2amps, but I'm not in a hurry.Once charging is done, the Noco switches to maintenance mode. Until I got the Noco, I had no idea what a desulfator was or that battery sulfation was even a thing. Had to google it. Seems like there are products out there that can kill your battery if not used properly, but can also work better when used properly. In other words, they need expert hands. But so far the reviews were all positive for the Noco Genius2. I haven't had it long enough to judge either way, but I'm leaning toward trusting it. So far the battery has been performing just fine and I don't have to worry about draining it.I won't remove a star for this, but I REALLY WISH Noco would supply a carrying pouch like they do with their booster packs. The wires are long and can become a tangled mess in the drawer. Come on, Noco. It ain't a big expense to put a pouch in the box.
