Malte by Odass
The Malte matte black towel warmer has an integrated programmable timer. The timer allows several drying option of 1 hour to 8 hours. It also allows the surface temperature of the towel warmer to be change at will. The minimal temperature is of 30 °C and goes to a maximal of 60 °C (86 to 140 °F). It allows towels to be dried and will allow you to use your towel for a longer period, all with low energy consumption.
With its 4 bars, it is an elegant and compact model. It has a power of 80 watts, a voltage of 120 volts, a frequency of 60 hz and a weight of 1.9 Kg.
PRO TIP: Make sure with a multimeter that the voltage of your electrical outlet or electrical box is 120 Volts. We recommend that our towel warmers be installed by an electrician.
Two installation modes
The towel warmer offers two installation modes: HARDWIRED & PLUG-IN. Both installation kits are included with the purchase of the towel warmer and a complete and simple installation guide is provided. The PLUG-IN installation allows you to plug the electrical plug directly into the electrical outlet.
Integrated timer with LED indicators
The towel warmer has a built-in timer of 1 to 8 hours with LED indicator. Thanks to a heating wire technology in tungstene, the surface temperature of this electric towel dryer is 30 °C to a maximum of 60 °C (113 to 131 °F) and programmable in sequence of 5 °C. It is noise free and will not rust.
Safe installation
The towel warmer is ETL. So, it can be installed respecting the electricity rules of Canada and United-States. The electrical outlet is North American and needs to be use on 120V. The plug-in cable for the installation in a electrical outlet is of 1.7 meters.

The unit won't turn off. The seller advised to reset it by turning off the breaker from the electrical panel and then turning it on again. It made the unit work for a couple of days. And then the problem returned, but this time the unit does not react to any clicks at all! It just stays ON all the time.This is a serious fire hazard issue.

I like it , it’s small and perfect for my bathroom and 1 person household!Easy to install!Only the screws look cheap and may not be sturdy for long term, Odass as Canadian family business, they should think more about using better materials.

Wish it was a little further from the wall and a bit more space between each bars, hot on the hands while putting on bath towels. Timer does always shut off.

Easy enough to install, either plug-in or hard-wired. It gets fairly hot and usually takes 4 to 6 hours to dry out two towels in a bathroom with no ventilation. Don’t expect warm towels out of the shower, but dry and maybe warm in some spots if you turned it on 2hours before showering. I also looks really good, the timer is very handy.First one came all scratched, I had to return and order new one that came with no issues.

I was so tired of my damp smelly kitchen towels bunched up on the countertop. We use towel warmers in the bathrooms, and our bath towels are always dry. I decided to look for a small towel warmer to put in my kitchen. Now my dish towels are always dry when I reach for them. I am never going back! I never use the timer - I just keep it on. No noticeable increase in my electric bill. This is the perfect size to mount at the end of my island - if I were redoing the kitchen, I would hard wire it - but now, i plug it in to the outlet on my island.

It’s a small unit and thought it would be enough to heat a normal size body towel. It doesn’t. I need one double the size. This one took 3 hours to slightly warm the towel. Wasn’t worth all the work to install as I hard wired it in.

The selling features for us were the size of the heater (installed it just below the existing towel rack so it dries the towels hanging from that existing rack), and the control with the off timer functions, 2 or 4 hours. I saw no other towel heaters advertised with that control function. Didn't want to have it running all day if we forgot to turn it off. The continuous on function is available, but doubt we will ever use that, 2 or 4 hours is adequate for us to dry the towels after morning showers. The 40 watt heating elements are quite adequate for normal use, and uses little energy with the timer function capabilities. My only other thought is I wish it was manufactured in Canada (or the US) rather than this Canadian company using a China manufacturer.

The product shipped fast and arrived sooner than expected. Simple to put together. It would be handy if the instructions had a drill pattern or at least the measurements to help in drilling the holes for mounting. As well, it would be super if it was possible to have the choice between a left or right side power cord As it comes the power cord is on the right side.It works really well warms up quick and warms two towels up nicely.
