This sketchbook has high quality paper that works well for sketching, shading, and light drawing. The paper is smooth yet sturdy, and the top spiral binding makes it easy to flip through pages. The bamboo paper has a nice texture, giving a slightly different feel compared to traditional sketch pads. Overall, it’s a great choice for beginners and experienced artists looking for a reliable sketchbook. Super happy with this sketch book.

The Ohuhu 9" x 12" Bamboo Paper Sketch Book is obviously a source of pride for Ohuhu. The pad comes shrink wrapped and in a very high quality, box of extremely dense cardboard for protection. There is nothing that is going to harm that item during transit. It comes with a paper with usage tips that is printed on the very same paper inside the pad. That’s a great idea, we can test the paper without wasting a sheet. It’s a good sketch pad paper weight and has a nice tooth to it. Pencil erases well (with the right erasure, some of the ones on my pencil tips are horrible), no degradation of the paper happens with the friction of erasing. The spirals are strong. The whole thing is excellent quality. I highly recommend it.

I am a beginner at sketching and I really like this paper. It is 79lb made with 55% bamboo fiber, so a little heavier then some of the basic sketchbook paper I have had with kits and others I have tried. I like the little heavier weight. It is a white color with just a very slight texture to the paper.I have also used watercolor markers on it and they did not bleed through so this allows a few other mediums to be used with this paper. It was easy to erase on and it states it is supporting responsible forestry and when I erased unwanted lines it was easy and the pencil marks were easy to remove.I am enjoying the paper and love the heavier weight. It arrived in a carboard box for protection. I will get another pad once I am through with this one.I am a beginner artist and this is my impression of it.⭐️ 1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality, or it does not reflect the advertising.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or is not priced where it should be for the product.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable. It has some faults, but the quality is adequate for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable; it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

I got the 9" x 12" Bamboo Paper Sketch Book for my daughter who is an aspiring artist. Her traditional media are graphite, pastels, and water colours. At 79lb, the paper is thick and high quality. Perforations at the top allow you to easily detach it from the spiral bound pad. I can easily see myself reordering when she finishes this pad.

A good, large size pad (slightly larger than A4), with plenty of pages. Paper stock is thick and has a very subtle texture to it - it works great for pencil sketching (which is what I've primarily been using it for). I also love that they give you a loose sheet to test the page quality on before opening the packaging or gifting it someone else. That's such a good idea! Overall, then, a quality sketching pad for dry mediums that I'm very pleased with. Would recommend.

I absolutely love this album and have no negatives about it. It arrived, shrink wrapped inside a cardboard box so the condition is perfect. There's a very nice little sheet enclosed with usage tips printed on and describing how the paper is environmentally friendly which is a big plus point for me. There is the suggestion that the back of the sheet is used to try out the paper that's in the pad. The front cover of the pad says it's for use with dry media so the paper is not suitable for paints, felt tips or inks, it's geared towards pencils, pastels, crayons etc.. The wire comb binding is sturdy and the pages lie flat open or can be folded right round 360deg. You can work with the binding at the top or to the side. The pages are lovely to work on, you can feel the slight tooth to them when running your fingers over them. They are not stark white so give a softer look to your work. I've used other Ohuhu products and they are really good. This pad is currently £10.99 which is a great price for the quality

This Ohuhu 9"x12" sketchbook is a fantastic sketchbook! It is a sketchbook that is made for DRY MEDIA (pencil, graphite, charcoal, etc), and it works great with dry media! It is spiral bound on the top with 100 sheets of white paper that are perforated at the top. The paper is 79 lb/110 gsm, so the paper is on the thinner side. It is also acid free and it is made with a mixture of 55% bamboo fiber/45% cellulose. There is a little bit of texture on this paper, but not so much that it is rough and unpleasant to draw on.I tested a few different art mediums on this paper. This paper handles graphite pencils and colored pencils really well, and it even handles soft pastels and oil pastels well. However, I prefer pastel paper that has more texture for soft and oil pastels, but the paper in this sketchbook works well for pastel sketches. I did not test charcoal because I don't use charcoal, but I know that this paper will handle charcoal very well. I also tested alcohol markers, which aren't a dry medium, but I just wanted to see what would happen. The alcohol markers bled through just like I thought they would because this sketchbook is not made for markers or other wet media. This paper is also easy to erase graphite off of and it does not pill or tear from erasing. This sketchbook is a great quality, durable sketchbook that will take quite a while to fill. It works perfectly for what is was designed for, and it is a great value for the price! I recommend this to artists of all experience levels and ages. It would also make a really nice gift to the artist in your life!
