Ne avevo sentito parlare da altre persone, ma avendolo provato posso solo confermarne la qualità. Lo sto usando con acquerelli e gouache, e devo dire che si comporta bene con l'acqua. A me piace molto e mi sento di considerarlo!

100% happy with this gorgeous journal. The cover feels and looks lovely and the stitched in pages are the perfect thickness for art journaling. I will definitely order more in the future.

Das Stillman & Birn Zeta Skizzenbuch ist eine Nachbestellung in einem anderen Format. Ich nutze es für Skizzen mit Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pens, Sakura Micron Pens, Bleistift oder diversen Künstler-Farbstiften und für alle Techniken ist das Papier hervorragend geeignet. Da es in der Vergangenheit mit einzelnen Stillman & Birn Skizzenbuch-Chargen bei der Bindung vereinzelt Probleme gegeben hat, möchte ich für das erhaltene Skizzenbuch besonders hervorheben, dass die Bindung perfekt ist: es ist stabil gebunden und zwischen den Signaturen scheint kein Kleber hindurch, so dass sich das Skizzenbuch auf allen Seiten flach aufschlagen lässt!

I do love this sketchbook, thick paper, smooth and soft to the touch but I do have issues with it but only my opinion, if you try to erase it to hard the paper kinda shreds that it feels rough.

The paper is of such quality and feel! This one is a smooth finish and a velvet feel and for marker work or just pencil sketching, it is wonderful. It’s 270 gsm so it’s thick, nothing goes through it! I think again that for markers & pencils it is joy to draw on. You can’t beat stillman and birn for sketchbooks, though getting them in Canada is pricey. This was a small square size to carry in my purse and I chose the soft cover to keep it small and light, but the corners started getting damaged quickly (on the actual pages) so in the end, I went back to my hardcovers S&B. I know many people like the soft covers for travel, but I would still say to be careful how you pack it and for me, I think I prefer the hardcovers spiralbound for all purposes.

I've been trying zillions of different sketchbooks looking for the "one" that checked all the boxes, and I think this is it. It has 270gsm paper so I can use markers or paint or ink without bleed thru. It lays flat and creates a great horizontal spread from the square pages. The pages are white and very smooth. Not entirely as slick as bristol board but very very close. It's a pleasure to draw/write/paint in this sketchbook.
