The raised canopy bed seemed like a great idea but my (dalmatian) wouldn't go on it.It was sturdy and easy to assemble. Unfortunately I waited too long to return it so was able to resell it very quickly.

My dog loves this bed, especially when she is outside and doesn’t have to sleep on the ground. It is very sturdy and very easy to put together. I would probably buy this again if needed.

Dogs were a little leary at first. But are using it now . It's very large and looks like a little tent when the cover is on ! Perfect for outside use ( or inside ) comes with a travel bag. Grandkids lay on it to watch movies lol

Very sturdy, nice looking, assembles easily. My only problem is I had hoped the cover was big enough to keep rain off my cat when he sits in it. It’s not. The canopy is much smaller than the seat area. However, my cat likes it. Sits in it and underneath it.

The product is sturdy and easy to put together. The bed did sag a little with use even though my dog weighs only 12lb. I imagine it would be worse if your dog was much heavier. She loves it and the canopy is super useful.

Though the frame is well designed and fits very well together, the material sags.Sags badly - even with the 3 straps under the mesh panels.These straps are, basically, useless.I rescue Papillon and Papillon-mixes so most of my dogs are 10lbs +/- 2lbs.I bought this so some of the bonded pairs, or three who play together, can lay beside each other.After I set it up, one of mine lay on the centre panel and it sagged.Sagged deeply - and he is only 11lbs.The solution, I think, is to not have one 60cm wide mesh centre panel but two 25cm wide mesh panels with a 10cm support strip, between the two mesh panels, sewn length-wise to rest of the main material.I may have a tent-and-awning company sew such a strip, of similar material, across the centre mesh panel - as long as that is not outrageously expensive.It is also larger than any door I have so I have to take off the "shade" before putting it away every night. I have taped the connector rods, where they join, with magic tape - ensuring 2/3 of the tape is on the thinner rod, so the rods do not come apart when carrying the "shade".

Pawhut is really great its off the cold ground for this time of year for my Basset Hound.she is the biggest Basset Hound ive owned at 80 pounts big like a Sheppard or Lab and the bed holds her great.got the Product Dimensions : 122 x 92 x 122 cm and it is actually even a bit big for her but she loves the space to lounge on. will add picture later but Ive had for 2 months now and its sturdy and well worth the money. no top put on right now its windy here till about late May but the shade is also something i was looking for and its easy to put together! Recommend

This is the best dog accessory I've ever purchased. My dogs LOVE IT. It holds up to the Texas sun and weather and gives them a place to get out of the sun while still being able enjoy the yard. (They're indoor pups, but they love porch naps.) My only regret is that I wish I'd bought a smaller one--I bought the 48" version, and my friends are able to curl up in it with the dogs. We've also brought it inside and thrown a dog bed on it, making it an even bigger hit with our larger pup. If it ever craps out, we'll definitely buy another.

I have a mid size dog who fits on it very well. My dog is about 38lb. I had no issued with putting it together. I know some people wrote they had issues, I did not. It is sturdy once all pieces are in, does not sag when in use. The material feels nice and durable. Used it for one summer, after a wash still looks like new. I think my dog enjoys it in the summer more as she has some air from the bottom to make her cooler. She looks comfortable on it and likes it. We have not been using the canopy as much as I thought we would, but we have it when needed. It was water resistant when we got it but I think after a wash it worn off. When we got it, our puppy peed on it a little and the mesh did hold it until I wiped it off. I am happy with the Cot and I think my dog is too.

Pros:-These are really great for providing shade and rain protection for an outdoor dog.-I was very impressed by how strong and well built the base is. It takes some serious muscle to stretch the floor across the poles, and the velcro is very heavy duty.-The weight of the base and the shape of the top make it hard to blow over or away during a windy day or a stormCons:-The way that the canopy attaches to the base is absolutely terrible. It uses standard flexible tent poles to curve across to the corners, but there is no locking mechanism to secure the poles into the base. The only 'securing' mechanism is a very flimsy, thin plastic clip on a very thin and flimsy piece of elastic at the corners. A tiny amount of chewing or even just pulling by a pet will destroy these elastic and plastic clips, and then the top will not stay secured to the base. It's a really unfortunate and very major design flaw.If you have the tools and are handy, you can drill holes in the corner poles on the base part and install some set screws to pressure-secure the tent poles to the base poles. Then no amount of tugging, biting, or pulling will get the tent poles apart from the base. You can also replace the crappy plastic clips and elastic with some thin gauge steel cable and stainless steel securing hardware and you will be good to go. It's just a shame that you need to spend several hours and another $20-30 on fixing a product that is arguably so expensive to start with.
