The bolts in these kits stated in the description as being 1/4 inch, I even asked the question to confirm they are 1/4 inch bolts before ordering,and was told they are 1/4 inch. They arrived today and bolts are NOT 1/4 inch,they are 5/16. Very disappointing and time consuming returning the items to Canada post for return. You would think the sellers would know the product they're selling, and know the difference between 1/4 inch and 5/16, after all, it's not Rocket Science. So buyers beware, although then description states 1/ 4 , they are NOT.

It's an interesting item to review, however I'll do my best. The parts required to connect a tank to the bowl are all here and fit correctly. Over time the "brass" bolts have corroded visibly on the heads. If you want to avoid this buy solid brass bolts.

The job seemed wobbly when finished because of the firmness of the gasket, but it works. This product would be better with all-brass pieces, as I believe there eventually would be electrolysis between steel and brass, and corrosion. But that would be years away. Make sure you need this diameter opening. It is slightly over two inches, which fit a Crane toilet tank. Very easy to install. (Not many things get five stars from me).

I have an old toilet I put in from the late 80's that's still going strong but needed a little repair work. The kit worked quite well and was easy to install. It's been a couple months now and no leaks.
