While it keeps the fireplace perfectly dry and safe from the elements, it doesn't hold very well and I have to lift the fireplace and slide the cover under its legs unless wind will lift it up entirely. I'm not saying the rope around the base is useless, but...

Was so happy to see this as i bought the very firepit shown in add and needed cover for it. Good job amazon. Fits and seems to work as we had snow today and kept firepit dry.
