I have had two other mppt units from a well known supplier both of which failed miserably in a very short time and truthfully never did seem to mark as promised. This unit works great and has kept my system fully charged since being hooked up with zero issues. It has only been a few weeks but I expect to buy another for a separate system. Very happy with my choice.

We had the system hooked up 8 months ago. We kept getting overcharging errors. Backed the voltage down in the settings as factory settings are way too high. Worked great for a few months. Then this week we got fault 4 reading on inverter which is low voltage. Batteries then drained completely and co.plete system would not come on. Solar charge controller turned off and refused to come back on. Checked wiring and all was good. Checked everything. The problem is the solar charge controller is broken. Do not buy. This is not a good product. Replacing with k own brand

I am so glad I read these reviews first. Even though they claim multiple times(even in the manual) that they are preset to not be Li-Ion batteries, all three of mine were.I have three pairs of 300watt panels going to three of these controllers.. One pair each which should give them 50amp each. After setting them all up I get "fault 18" low PV voltage. Might just be cause it's night time.I do wish there was a way to turn off the lcd screen.

Works well with a 48v battery configuration and the following panel configurations I have tried so far:1. 4 panels connected in series with a resulting 130v - 140v and 8.4 amps.2. 6 panels divided into 2 groups of 3 panels each. Groups connected in parallel. Panels within a group are connected in series. This configuration produces between 90v and 100v and about 17 amps of current.Good price and excellent product.
