I love the shape of these pencils. The lead is soft and colors smoothly. Blends well. Lead lasts and does not break easily. Great value for my money. Yes, I'd buy this again, and have.

Prang (Lyra) colored pencils are the best colored pencil I have found! Prismacolors are wonderful but they transfer and smudge (which is good for that style of art). But for high use and children these are the perfect balance of non-smudging yet still laying down thick and smooth pigment. The lead is sturdy enough to handle heavy pressure without crumbling and holds up sharpening. Performs far better than Faber-Castels and significantly outperforms and the brand of colored pencils I or my artist daughter have used.

If you are a middle aged Canadian like me with fond memories of Laurentien coloured pencils then you will love these. They are very similar to my childhood favourites, lay colour down beautifully and have a large variety of colours. Not overpriced, quite affordable! Two thumbs up!👍🏻

I've just started the adult coloring book craze! These are my second set of purchased pencils. These have been recommended by several adults I know that color also.They are a soft lead, the glide onto paper with ease, the pigment is bright without pushing hard, price is awesome and the sharpen well! All in all they were a wonderful purchase for my new hobby!
