Si buscas ese sonido británico, este preamp es de lo mejor!Si bien no vas a gastar lo que vale el 1073 obtendrás un muy buen sonido.

Versatile mic preamp, crystal clear or well flavoured and everything in between plus line in for instruments, etc. Post gain, pre-EQ insert point for compressor or other processing, plus a switchable and very musical EQ in the chain as well. Flexible and really, really good sounding. Sums up to one killer preamp that's well worth every penny. Lets my Gefells and 67's sound better than ever, so do my 57's and SM7's...well, everything else, too. I'm one happy studio tan man!

Soy productor desde hace 20 años, y es la primera vez que compró un preamp antes siempre conectaba directo al interface, estoy muy contento por el resultado ayuda mucho a subir la calidad del audio, y es mucho más fácil hacer mezclas

If you’re recording vocals this is a must have. Adds the elusive warmth I was looking for. Very high quality heavy duty which is evident in the weight of the unit and quality of the knobs. The EQ is fantastic which you can adjust while singing or playing. Microphone and instrument jacks are easily accessible in the front should you rack this unit. All pros and no cons with this unit.

One of the best purchases I've made so far for my studio. Packaged good and well protected. The unit sounds wonderful with my WA87 R2.

First off let me say that I really wanted to love this piece of gear. I really did. But.... right out of the box the EQ section of the preamp didn't work. Zip, zilch, nadda, nothing. No EQ. That's half the reason I ordered the product in the first place. To pay over a thousand dollars for something defective and then have to go through the rigmarole of returning it to the seller was a real bummer.It's not that I think Warm Audio have a bad product line, they really don't! They have an excellent product line! And to be fair, on top of that, they put out amazing quality at very affordable prices! But I'm still wondering how this unit slipped through quality control? Was it somehow damaged in transit? I suppose that's possible, but still that doesn't lessen my disappointment. With all that I'm still willing to give Warm audio and second chance so I'm hoping for a replacement unit soon. I hope I can write a better review of this product in the future.
