Purchased for my daughter’s violin. Very good sound and very good quality. Easy to put on, fits great, super easy to take on and off while playing. Also very beautiful! Definitely recommend!

This is simply the best mute I’ve ever had. When I changed my violin, I found the usual Tourte round mute just rattled causing a buzz. This one not only fits onto the strings easily, but popping the mute on and off is the easiest I’ve known.The sound when muted it beautiful, much nicer than the other mutes I’ve tried. It might cost a little more, but it’s absolutely worth the extra money paid!I recommended this to my desk mate, and she was also impressed with the mute.

手持ちのバイオリンには良くフィットし、音色も良いです。駒上の出っ張りも最小なのでとても弾きやすい。実はビオラ用にと思って買ったのだが、手持ちの楽器ではセットすると2弦と3弦の音程が少し上がってしまいます。少し大きめの、ビオラ専用のもあるとさらに良いと思いました。

Perhaps it's my viola, but this "professional model" was useless. It's expensive, which does not seem to mean that it's any good, unhappily. I did purchase the viola model, but maybe there's no difference between violin/viola as far as this particular mute is concerned. All in all, I think it's a waste of money.
