Just okay. It's pretty flimsy. It would be good for lighter weight objects, but nothing too heavy or large. I use it to hold a small class set of binders up. It mostly works, but could definitely be heavier duty.

I ordered this for my kid who is going to university, and whose desk was looking like a natural disaster. Many textbooks and binders that are needed frequently. This accordion / folding book rack makes everything much neater and more convenient for him, vs. having a stack of books on his desk. You do have to be somewhat careful when trying to reduce the size of the slots to not bend the metal - steady pressure slowly rather than heavy pressure fast is the way to go.

I needed a cookbook holder for a kitchen baker's rack that wouldn't be too obvious, but would allow me to store and easily retrieve my books. This is the answer! It looks great (I got the gray and it doesn't stick out but you can clearly see all the books). It holds a large number and is easily adjustable to fit any space. It's not something you could move with books in it, but it is sturdy as far as holding them upright and the ends don't warp. Love this. Would be perfect for a student or an office.

Got this to hold my makeup palettes and it works great ! Not as sturdy as I thought, but it still holds everything well and nothing has fallen over lol
