This bismuth is great stuff! Every atom in the sample had exactly 83 protons, which is, as you know, something you expect to see in quality bismuth. I was a little annoyed that the atoms had a variety of different masses, but given that the vast majority of them weighed around 298.98 atomic mass units, I think it can be overlooked.

Wild you can just go online and order this stuff. It arrived quickly and was just as heavy and nifty as I thought. Be aware that because it is heavy as heck, the ingots are not as large as you might imagine. If you want to make your own crystals, I would recommend four, because two is not much unless you use a pretty small vessel. Neat stuff

Ordered 8.8LBs Got 4 ingots that melted in my pot and made crystals. Ingots show the iridescent colours and is almost cool enough like that. Such a cool element. You will see videos about how it is radioactive...Everything is radioactive. Bismuth half life is longer than our planet has been around...you will be fine. Do not mix with water, and be aware of bismuth oxide are the only things I have found out so far. Play safe!
