I wanted some extra support as I learn to play the piano. This is a great tool for beginners to quickly find a starting note. It is a little wider than my piano keys and have not had it for long to comment on durability.

My littles love this, we are trying to get them interested and this has definitely helped. Getting them involved and having them seek this out on their own has helped them want to take lessons.

The piano lesson book is pretty average in terms of quality. I like the removable keyboard chart though. It does the job, but I would not buy again.

I love this product. My child and I cannot read sheet music. In less than 5 minutes we were able to start playing songs by reading the sheet music and the guide. Finally, it’s not so daunting. This has really encouraged us. Thank you!

This book comes with a cardboard keyboard you can place before you to practise without sound. It is also color coded as well.

The set is not convenient for teaching young kids.Without the stickers that should mark the keys, the kids are getting confused pretty fast. The colour-coding system is good enough for adults, but for kids, this is not good. There are more efficient sets on the market.

Il prezzo è troppo elevato per il valore reale del libro, che in realtà è un opuscolo. Forse si sono fatti pagare l'idea...

While this is a well made and easy to work with solution to learning piano on your own, I am finding the carboard display less useful than I had wanted. For an adult, I think it's a bit big - I don't need something that takes up this much room. I am working with an electronic keyboard, as I'm sure the vast majority of people are these days, and there is no good place to lean this cardboard sheet against. An upright or any other piano with a lid would work well with this.On plus side, this would be great for kids - coupled with the vast amount of free piano lessons on youtube this could be a valuable teaching tool.

This is great for small children interested in self-learning piano, but who don't have instructors. It's a colorful, easy-to-understand guide for things like key recognition and finger placement, and teaches only the very basics, which it states quite clearly. You get a cardboard foldout that you can set up on the keys to have a visual guide for the notes (each note has it's own colour) but I've always found dry erase marker directly on the keys to be much easier. I suppose if you have a baby grand, drawing on the keys isn't an option, but you can probably also afford piano lessons. The instructions are visual, numbering fingers and showing placement on keys and encouraging repetitive actions to become comfortable in that position. ON the first page of the new note, you're encouraged to play it over and over, but the second page will have alternating notes for good hand exercises.I think a lot of thought went into planning this book, and if you have a dedicated student, it will be very helpful with the hardest part for kids to get used to, which is the finger placement and comfort of it. The books makes no claims of teaching how to read music and that should not be expected.
