Your cart is empty.The flowers bloom once a year and come in shades of fuchsia, yellow, salmon, pink, white, orange, red and sometimes will even have a combination of the colors. The Christmas cacti are tropical plants. They require sunlight and the blooms last longer with cooler temperatures. Keep them away from heaters, fireplaces, radiators, furnace ducts, and other heat sources. Place in a sunny location while indoors and if outdoors during the summer, find a place that has a sun/shade mix to prevent the plant from getting burned. The best way to be sure your plant is getting just the right amount of water is to wait until the soil is dry on the top and still a bit moist toward the bottom. Then water the plant until the soil is saturated. Drain off any excess water that accumulates on the bottom. Then do not water again until the top half of the soil feels dry to the touch again. Well-drained soil is very important.

I ordered the Orange and Rosy Cloud varieties on Aug 18/24. It took until now to bloom. Both are the Fuchsia variety. The plants were healthy but not what I ordered. Very disappointed.

the seller wrapped my rooted pieces very well and the slips have flower bubs, However the box looked like the shipper had sat on it it was so badly crushed, the poor plants were dried out (was the box forgotten) and left on my step at -20 degrees. So I put my carefully wrapped, mangled, partially frozen slips in water to try and hydrate them. I have crossed my fingers and hope they survive. I can't tell if they are orange flowers but the buds are very pink, not orange, Lesson, order in the early fall before it gets cold.

My cutting were weak and wilted when it arrived. They have still not rooted and I do not think they will.
