Too short.Does work but shorter than OEM .This was on my 1988 Yamaha big bear 350.

Cable did not come with washer for spring mounting to rear brake caliper lever. I just used one I had laying around. Other than that, it fit and worked fine.

I just finished installing this new hand brake cable on a 1998 Yamaha Big Bear350 4x4, this cable is a little longer than the original equipment and the endof the cable that attaches to the brake drum is smaller in diameter than the originalwhich makes it impossible to use the tention spring from the old cable without makingsome modifications, this cable is also smaller in thickness.
