We upgraded our 2016 Genesis 24' trailer by replacing the batteries to the lithium. After some research of no power we came across a YouTube video showing this unit needed to be upgraded as well. This was an easy fix, just had to trim the back of plastic insert area for it to fit. Other than that, eying installation, works perfectly. Power supply was hard wired, Great buy, not too expensive. Glad it's all done and working correctly.

Very good product. It's almost plug and play. The directions are a little vague. But once you figure out your wiring and works great. I can now see how much charge is occurring so it's great. Thinking of adding a victron smart shunt next so I can monitor the batteries from my phone.

Easy to install. Replaced for smart charge and LiFePo4 function. Old unit was a basic charge. Contact with RecPro for additional charging information was quick and informative. Unit just installed and functioning okay. Old unit had one sideways blade on plug that plugged into the RV main electric panel. My panel allowed for either/or when plugging this recpro unit into the panel back plug for converter marked existing breaker. Thanks RecPro.

(Edited 10-30-24, I finally reached the company by sending a message though the Recpro website. It took 6 days of back and forth but they refunded my purchase price in the end. I'm glad I checked the output voltage and noticed it was not dropping below 14.5 volts. I know my battery's took a hit but lets hope it not too bad.)I'm been an RV'er for over 55 years and have owned and maintained my own RV's for almost that long. I also bought and replaced countless converters in those RV and friends units. This unit was installed three months ago and never has dropped below 14.2 volts. When you use the RV and power is being consumed it runs up to 14.6 volts and stays there for many hours if not days. There is NO 4 way "Smart" charging mode!! If your read the product description carefully you can see there is a contradiction in that "fixed" voltage and 4 way both are listed with no way to change modes. I admit that I usually don't keep an eye on converter voltage as I wouldn't think it necessary, however I got suspicious of this 65 amp charger and started monitoring it closely to find that it will indeed KILL your battery's at this constant rate of charge. Hours spent on hold with Recpro where never answered and emails not replied to. I think its safe to assume there will be no warranty. Great price for something that costs you a bundle more in battery replacement. If all the brands I have used,, this is the worse. I hope someone sees this before buying but I don't think many look to the one star reviews. Thanks DS
