The MUS 4.3 POLAR charger has been specifically developed to offer excellent all around charging. The special cold weather performance and adapted AC and DC cables handle severe cold down to -22 degrees F (-30 degrees C). It is an advanced microprocessor controlled battery charger providing unrivalled performance on batteries from 1.2Ah to 110Ah.
The MUS 4.3 POLAR charger is loaded with features including diagnosis of battery condition to establish if it can receive and retain a charge, patented automatic de-sulphation program and a special reconditioning function that will revive and restore deeply discharged and stratified batteries. The 'Snowflake' mode ensures ideal charging performance when in the most extreme cold conditions. The patented Float/Pulse maintenance makes the charger ideal for long-term maintenance. The entire process of battery testing, charging and maintenance is easily followed on the clear LED display.
The charger is a fully automatic (connect and forget) 12V charger with 8 charging steps. The RECOND and SNOWFLAKE modes operate individually or together in both 0.8A and 4.3A programs, providing great flexibility for the user. It offers a wide charging range on all lead-acid battery types from 1.2Ah up to 110Ah, with additional maintenance capability to 160Ah.
This charger is splash and dust proof and above all, very easy to use. It also has safety features to prevent sparks and protect against reverse polarity and short circuiting ensuring that you and your vehicles electronics are kept safe.

This is a must have for exotic owners in Canadian winter. The long cold winter prevent us from driving our cars and we need to keep the battery intact. And this is a must have it work great with my 650s with the additional 12v comfort plug its super simple to use. just plug all the things together and it automatically cycles the battery preventing it from sitting flat.

I have had problems with a couple vehicles keeping the batteries charged during harsh winters. This is the third go at a battery tender for indoor / outdoor applications, so far its works great, no issues. I had a new 94R battery go totally flat last week over a few weeks (unrelated) and this brought it back in 24 hours. The cable connectors are a great idea and the clamps are well designed and manufactured, there are also other options available that show vehicle battery status when not being charged that I am testing before I order more for my other vehicles

High quality. Easy to install. The quick connect to power source is outside of the car so you don’t have to open the hood every time you want to connect to the battery. Get the additional set of quick connect cables to ensure the cable can reach the outside of the vehicle. Also buy the handy hangar for the power unit to sit in. Screw it into the garage wall. I don’t drive much in the winter. With this, no more dead batteries.

I live in an area of average 20°F temp. in the winter and dropping to -10F intermittently for 2-3 days. This maintainer/charger is used for the duel batteries of the coach (not engine) for my application. I have 1 charger for both batteries and connect + on 1 battery, and - to the second battery. This is and OUTSTANDING UNIT. I purchased the CTEC extention cable and mounted my CTECH in a favorable location. I ran the extension cable to the battery utilizing the "O" connectors provided on the battery screw terminals. Pleas read the factory specifications to this charger...I won't go into details. BUT THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING charger/maintainer, requiring very little power after it automatically switches to maintenance mode. As most RV owners we have bought them all...none of them compare in size, ability to mount to chasis, and just plain easy to install as this one. Now for its intended purpose....it has been hooked up since early October and never threw my breaker hooked into a 110v outside receptical on a GFI circuit. It went automatically through each stage and has been on maintenance thereafter, keeping my battery monitored. Never has it shut down, I check it often for peace of mind....it just works !!! And it works well....BUY WITH CONFIDENCE.

This product is the best for the price I see anywhere on internet by far. Some others product was 2 and 3 times the price of this item and lower quality. The charger is really small. Build quality is amazing, will last very long time. I use it every weeks on 2 family's cars and to help friends also. This item is specially designed for really cold weather and it's true. I use it at minus 23 celcius one time and works as fast as when I charge around zero celcius. There's is a battery reconditioning feature, Recommended 1 time a year. I think it's take 1 day for reconditioning at very cold weather but don't know if faster at hot weather. I received it some weeks ago this winter. Also the charger will remove by itself if necessary acid fumes inside the battery to improve its Efficiency. Using this charger often will double the life of your battery. Me and my dad almost not use ours cars so battery lower really fast and this item is an impressive buy. Very thanks for this product, the price was on sale and so much better then others sellers, was the last one so very lucky. I'm a real buyer, the best buy of your life in Canada cold weather. Use it on Costco and other battery using the Same AGM technologies. This charger charge at more high voltage so the best recommendation to buy if using for battery buy in cold weather area. You charge using cold weather feature even if 30 Celsius outside on all car's battery buy in cold weather area because technologies is different then hot USA areas for exemple. So if you life in Florida don't buy this one. There is a different model from this same manufacturer for you at lower price. This Polar version is also able to charge in hot areas battery technology so very flexible product.
