I like that it fully charges my lead acid batteries. Also the smart component has different stages of charging based on battery voltage.

It's not totally clear to me how this charger detects the different types of Lead Acid batteries .... and applies that optimum charging schedule to each one. E.g. --- an AGM battery expects a different charge schedule than does a Flooded-Cell battery, even though both are "Lead Acid" (not lithium, aka "LiFePo4"). But it seems to do it properly .... I have other Float Chargers which don't operate at all on the AGM battery... this one does the job. I think ..... I've only used it two days ... ask me again in two years.Product seems to be well-made, with very functional connections. I'd give it Five Stars if there were a bit more documentation on the internal functioning. But, lastly, I'll add that I posed these questions to the vendor/manufacturer ... and at least got (partial) answers back. They are trying.

So far so good, been using it as a battery maintainer on 12 volt lawn mower batteries. The reason for one star deduction are the clips, wish they had a better/stronger spring for more positive grip on battery terminals. Being that lawn mower batteries have the thin blade type terminals, have to move the clips around some till they make good contact with the terminals for the charger to start charging. I suspect batteries with the bigger post terminals the clips would grab on better.Incidentally, the negative reviews that the charger does not work could be because a battery has to have some charge in it for most chargers to work, if its stone cold dead, not the fault of the charger.

Bought this for my generator battery to make sure it’s topped up often. Easy to attach even in the tight space of my generator. Works great.

First it's so nice to use just one charger for both lead acid and my lithium batteries. Very fast charger and fits in your pocket or pack. Would be nice of it was automatic switch between lead acid and lithium batteries but for the cost I can just hit the button to switch between the 2. I highly recommend this charger.

This product works great. As long as you can read your battery and know if it is acid or not just put it on the right setting and let it do its thing.

I would go through alot of batteries over time from having them sit and forget about charging in between long dwell periods. I bought 2 and purchased more the same week, I plug them in and walk away and I will not have a dead piece of equipment again. I then purchase more for my quads and my snow mobiles.can not go wrong with the price as well. - and should save money over time as well
