This was my first tambourine that had a drum head. It has a nice hi-tom sound to it when you apply pressure to the head, but the sound is not that pleasing in my opinion. I still use this product, but I am more cautious about how much I hit the head since I have yet to find good pressure pairs to contrast the hit tones. Again, I must say that I love the jingles, but I feel that this tambourine could benefit from a more resonant and tone-sensitive head.

So Much Fun I bought these to leave it laying around under the coffee table so from time to time when people are around our guest or ourselves grab it and play just for fun...Adults become kids again... get rid of stress. I thought it was very sturdy.
