I purchased this to disconnect the battery so the battery would not discharge over long periods of time. I have had it for two years now and it still works very well. It is great for boats or that occasional and classic vehicle you only get out on a sunny day. Easy to install and great value to save the battery. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

This product shuts the hole electrical down in your vehicle , but for me I have an draw on the electrical system and I’m trying to find out where it is.

Works easily. Really nice size and fits a lot of places. Nice easy to follow instruction. You do need some wire and connectors to be able to install it. Great packaging. Really nice key fob and super easy to use after installation with no programming needed. Depending on how professional you want the install to look depends on the tools you need but you can do the install with hand tools.

It looks nice and worked for about 5 min nicely. Then I had an issue with the unit going fail close on me while I’m was driving, so lost all power about 4 times on the way home from the shop. I hope to speak with someone and have it replaced becuase in theory it’s a wicked anti theft, but so far very disappointed.

You need to make sure you have enough room around the battery to install this or you will need an extra battery cable. Mine and most newer cars have just enough room for the battery. I got mine to fit.The only issue I have is they don't state the dc draw required for the solenoid to be in standby. I may put an on/off switch on the line so that I can completely shut it down so that there is no drain on the battery as I store mine for long periods. Not sure if this will work as they don't state whether the solenoid needs constant power to stay off or on.When I turn it on, the car does not fully turn on. The screens are grey, but just wait up to 5 seconds for the vehicle to run diagnostics. When the lights turn on, then you can unlock the drivers door. When you start the vehicle everything returns to normal.
