bought a big name brand thinking it would be good, but after a few days of use, the screen stopped displaying charge info. Unfortunately past the return period. It seems to be charging ok, but no data on the screen.

I bought this a couple years and have had it sitting around in the box while I purchased the other components to my solar system. Once I finally had everything together, I went to connect the solar controller (battery first) and there was nothing. No power, nothing. Everything was setup correctly and the unit was confirmed dead by hooking the system up to another working controller. Mind you I am off grid at my cabin 100 miles from home setting this up on my day off and this happens. I took the unit apart as I am out of the return window and there is no option for a refund now, and what I found was one of the wire traces on the board was burnt up. This was an open box return that I bought under the impression that it was fully functional and "In excellent shape just had the box opened". This wasn't the case. Someone had obviously hooked this up incorrectly and burnt up the unit and just returned it to Amazon. Now I'm stuck with a 70$ piece of junk, wasted time and a major headache. Bought myself a new unit from a different brand and a different seller and hoping for better results... The lesson here is test all your devices as soon as you receive them and don't trust amazon's inaccurate descriptions of their open box items. This is not the first problem I have had with open box returns....

Very simple; connect one end to the battery and plug the other end into the charge controller. It appears to be made of quality materials. Not really much else to say.

For the price ita a decent mppt charger...the omly type to get (can use both voltage and amprage compared to just amprage). Would buy again.

Using this with a 150w solar panel for my camper van. Keeps 3 batteries fully charged without any issues. Great for peace of mind

Installed one week ago to keep battery charged up for using some led lights on my boat this should be an easy task for the set up. One week later I checked on it and found the battery fuse from charge controller to battery was popped. Installed another and popped instantly. Order another but feel I should have went in another direction. Will update in a few weeks. So far not very impressed.Update, 6/14/22 looking in on the status of this charge control after 3 days of in service it looks promising as the battery is completely topped off and working as it should... I plan to update after 1 month to give it some real time in the real world. Also the new one was sent out and received literally the next day... Awesome!!!

Appears to be well made and solid easy to fit with good English instructions not been able to give a good test yet but hopeful it will increase the charge from my solar panelAfter 8 months this unit completely failed be was able to return through amazon for a full refund & replaced with a victron bluesmart unit which i hope will last longer

Likes-how much more efficient this charge controller is.Dislikes-if you are looking at the screen from any sort of angle rather then straight on its hard to read the display. I have no experience with other charge controllers so not sure if this is the norm.
