Linear low-density polyethylene tubing is preferred because of its low sealing temperatures. It is clear and durable with incredible flexibility and softness and is compatible with most dispensing stands and Poly-bag heat sealers. Use an impulse sealer to obtain an air-tight seal to protect products from moisture and other exterior elements. Our all-virgin LLDPE tubing meets FDA and USDA guidelines for food contact.

These continuous rolls have no seams to split or tear and come on a roll with a 3” core for effortless dispensing and easy processing. Slip the open end of the poly tube over the item and seal each end to protect for storage or shipment. Its high elongation makes LLDPE great for resisting punctures, abrasions, and tears. To ensure optimal quality upon arrival, it ships securely packaged in an outer bag.

Customers wrapping and protecting heavy or pointed objects can get thicker tubing to ensure product protection. Many customers wrapping knives, nails, screws, and other pointed objects can use 6 mil tubing to protect and package their products. Quality is as expected, but listed dimensions and the chart for max item sizes are incorrect.To start with, they list 3.5" as max diameter for 6" roll width. Math tells us that 6"x2=12" circumference and 12/pi=~3.8" max item diameter.That would be bad enough, but the actual width of the 6" roll I ordered is 6.25", so 12.5/pi = 3.97" max item diameter.My items would've fit better in a 5" roll.

I got this poly tubing for a special use to place around my RAM oil filter when removing it to capture the leaked oil. I have a round frame that clamps the tubing on the filter end and slides up over the filter. Using about 3 feet of the tubing, I seal the opposite end. The oil, when the filter is loosened goes into the so formed bag, rather than running down on the power steering boot just below the filter (and every place else). The space is so tight, a regular oil catcher can't be fitted in and I hate letting the used oil touch the rubber boot which could cause it to rot. Good quality US made tubing!!

The poly tubing is a great way to keep my etsy items ready to ship and craft show items clean despite travel and handling. Cheap, clear, fantastic. Works well with a basic impulse sealer.
