These radios are OK for line-of-site communication such as a stadium or open field with few obstructions. The range on the cruise ship was abysmal, however, there is a lot of steel to interfere there. Testing on a city block had a range of less than 200 meters with a few building in the way. After the 200 meters there was just static. They are handy in the right environments. These came in pairs with a single charger and separate charging bases for each radio. One radio was left on to test the standby duration, but had no power the next day when we went to use it. The channel selection dial has very small numbers to determine which channel the radio is on, however, if you power it up with the volume high, the radio repeats the channel in English. This type of radio is very handy to have in some situations, my kids preferred their cell phones, but phones would communicate with the two people on the phone. With multiple radios, on the same channel, everyone can hear the conversation or instructions at the same time.

These are excellent!PROS:- charge seems to last forever!- range is great. we've used them for a hike in a large park and reception was crystal clear most of the wayCONS:- none. very user friendlyWe've used 6 of these at once and nothing to do with the product, but important to use terms like "over" when you're done speaking so not everyone is talking all over each other. Great product, great value.

When I first unboxed the Retevis H777 2-Way Radios, I was impressed with how neatly everything was packaged. The set of 10 radios came divided into 5 boxes, each containing two units along with all the necessary accessories: belt clips, rechargeable batteries, Type-C charging cords, charging cradles, and a dual USB adapter. Everything I needed to get started was included, and the user manual made setup a breeze.Operating these walkie-talkies couldn’t be simpler. Charging them in their cradles was straightforward, and the Type-C charging option is useful for versatility. Once charged, I turned them on using the on/off knob and was greeted with a clear voice prompt that announced the power and current channel. Switching between the 16 available channels was quick and intuitive.I tested these radios in both urban and open rural environments. In a suburban area, I achieved a reliable range of about 0.5 miles, which was perfect for my needs. In a more open, obstacle-free setting, I pushed them to 1.8 miles, and they worked flawlessly. The sound quality was surprisingly clear, even at the edge of their range. The VOX hands-free mode was a great feature, especially when I needed to communicate without pressing the button constantly. The radios feel rugged and durable. The short antenna design is sturdy, and I’m confident they’ll hold up against accidental drops or vibrations during use. At just 116 grams, they’re lightweight and easy to carry, whether clipped to a belt or tucked into a pocket.Battery performance was excellent. After a full charge, I got about 12 hours of continuous usage and up to 60 hours on standby, making these ideal for full-day events or work shifts. The LED flashlight and emergency alarm functions were unexpected but welcome additions. They add an extra layer of utility, especially during nighttime activities or emergencies. At about $17 per unit, these radios offer outstanding value. Whether you’re running a business, organizing an event, or need reliable communication for outdoor activities, this set is an economical and effective solution.Overall, the Retevis H777 2-Way Radios exceeded my expectations. Their simplicity, clear audio quality, and solid build make them a fantastic choice for anyone needing reliable long-range communication. I highly recommend these for both professional and personal use!

These 2-way radios arrived as a package of 10 of them. They come in 5 boxes of 2 with all of the accessories included in the boxes. Each of the 5 boxes comes with 2 walkie-talkies, 2 belt clips, 2 USB charging cables, 1 USB adapter with 2 USB-A ports on it, a user manual, 2 rechargeable batteries, and 2 charging cradles. These walkie-talkies are very easy to use. You charge them in the charging cradles and then turn them on with the on/off knob. The walkie-talkies give voice prompts that indicate that the power is on and announce the channel the walkie-talkie is on.There are 16 channels you can choose from. You speak by pressing the button on the side but you can also hold the down button and turn on VOX. In VOX mode you do not need to press the button to speak. These walkie-talkies feel very durable and should be able to withstand shocks and vibrations. The rechargeable batteries give 60 hours of standby usage and 12 hours of constant usage. There is an alarm that you can sound but holding the up button. There is also an LED flashlight. The sound quality is very clear. There is no indication of the range for these walkie-talkies on the product page but on the company's web page, it states that these can work at a range of 0.5 to 1 mile in urban areas and up to 2 miles in rural areas with no obstacles. I tried these by having one person in my home and another person about a football field away and it worked perfectly. This is nice that it comes in a package of 10 walkie-talkies that are all compatible with each other. The price for these 10 walkie-talkies is very fair and works out to be only $17 per walkie talkie which is very fair and great value for your money.I do recommend these.
