I just git these and charged then up to test. The batteries didn't last three hours, you can't adjust the tone audio levels and it's very loud, I never got as much as 500m in a open park.

Poor product. 2 of the 4 walkies are busted. Probably just the microphone as they can now only receive, not transmit.

Charge fast, have weight to them, great to be able to see how much charge they have. Used in a school during supervision and have long range as principal went around community and was able to have a conversation with me, while I was in the school.

Easy to use and rather lightweight. It's even better because charging only requires a cable rather than a docking station, which makes it convenient to bring on backcountry hikes.We primarily purchased them for communication on longer rock climbs. We just used them on a trip, and it was great not to have to shout down and up to your climbing partner every 150 feet or more.I believe the distance is appropriate, however my only point of reference is that we heard someone on our channel for a brief period of time while we were 1300 feet over the earth, so they had to be rather far away given on their location.

This is great for hiking/camping and canoeing down the local river and in the provincial parks. The rugged design is also light in weight, making it easy to carry. The signal range is very good - our group can keep communicating up to 1km away on substantially level terrains (we didn't get further separated than this on our trip). It also floats if dropped in the water!It uses rechargeable batteries, which can be charged using the included USB cable. Battery life lasted the whole weekend on our trip wihtout recharging (but that would depend on how much usage it goes through).The sound quality is good, but not great. It's loud enough when you are in the woods, but in the city with traffic noise, it'll be hard to hear unless you hold it close to your ears.It also has an integrated SOS alarm feature, which will come in handy for those nature trips.
