The earpiece works great. Sound is clear and it's comfortable in my ear.

I like the fact that the cords are longer and works fine. No complaints so far

I work in the film industry where we wear these for 10-20 hours a day in all elements of weather and the seas lasted me two YEARS. Most headsets I have to replace every three months, I did replace the ear piece and I'm short so the cable is perfect but if you are a tall person it may be too short on you depending on how you wear it. Repurchasing another one right now, love love love such good quality for $20CAN

This headset works great. The price is amazing. Ignore the negative reviews. I just started using it today on a film set, and it works just as well as the Motorola headsets, at a fraction of the price.

I'm a genuine customer that needed this for my work. I was initially worried that this wouldn't work with the walkie talkies (motorola) but this one seemed like it was most practical and cost efficient out of the other options on amazon. the audio is clear, I like that the push to talk button is big and its placed well, I'm not fidgeting around for it when I'm in a rush. the cable is just long enough to reach the walkie talkie on my waist with a little big of length for any adjustments and such. If you're within 5'5-6'3, I think the length is perfect for you. The earpieces are comfortable, my only issue is that the ear piece connects to the black cable where you slide it into a slot and rotate it so that it stays. I wish it locked and I had the transparent earpiece part fall off randomly at times so there is room for improvement.

Sound is choppy and my team could not hear me. Had to abandon for an overhead to work.

This is the headset you're looking for if you work in the motion picture industry! Clear sound, good Mic, and most importantly, it fits our radios! For me, a 5'5" woman, the cord from the clip to the pins is about 8 inches too long, but it's manageable, and far better than being too short! Overall, it's a good product that's worth the money

Worked perfectly for a few days. But took it in the rain yesterday and the PTT stopped working. It also queues my radio whenever plugged in. No signs of damage. I work in the Vancouver film industry so durability in rain is extra important. Just bought another as temporary solution but deffs looking for other companies.

excellent piece of equipment. works very well, gets a little uncomfortable having it in your ear all day but thats an easy fix by just taking it out and letting your ear rest if you have free time (i work security so say, if you're in the office and have a desk radio or your partner is right next to you). the double chords can get a bit tedious as well but again, easy fix for me, i just used twist ties to keep sections of it together. sometimes you have to push the button done slightly harder than normal because it cuts in and out but that is most likely an issue with my radio. overall, deserves 5 stars.

These work well for our needs. We get around 100+ days a year of use on them. Our only failures are usually the acoustic tube will get moisture in it and stop sending the sound. Because we have several dozen units being used at a time, I keep spare acoustic tubes on hand to solve this issue. Many of my employee's like this style more than over the ear ones due to the clarity and volume they get with them. They are great for handing out to people who are not organized and lose things because they are cheap and easy to replace. I have not had any actual failures from the components other than moisture in the tube. I will continue buying these for my employees every year.

I did a lot of debating before going with this set simply because it has a cheap price, so I'll try to give a thorough review. My equipment sees a lot of wear-and-tear so I generally strive for quality rather than continuously buying cheap replacements. My radios go from emergency management services to touring across the country, so it's part of my daily apparel and often my only means of communication when towers are down. I actually like this better than my Motorola shoulder system and the expensive Lash system that chaffs my neck.It works great with my Motorola radios and I was surprised by the build/sound quality for the price. The PTT button plays nice with gloves (crucial) and the mic provided sharp audio even in a concert venue. The speaker has a quick disconnect for both the wire and tubing as well as an arm to lock the wire in place when installed. I can't give an opinion on the in-ear piece that comes with it because I've only used molded open-ear inserts. (Suggestion...soak the inserts in warm water and then you can form them to your ear just like molding a mouthguard. Obviously form them before connecting to your audio tube, which you will also need to trim for proper fit.) I also like that Retevis used a metal elbow where the earbud and tubing connect, which is an improvement over the plastic ones that always break at that pivot point.Side stage at concert venues can be challenging for communication but I was pleased with the sound quality in both transmitting and receiving. In fact, I bought two more for other radios but unfortunately had to go with a different Retevis model due to differing PIN configurations. Everything feels solid with this set but that certainly can't be said for the other Retevis units I received. Hopefully they don't go cheap on this version in the future. I'll post comparison pics just to show you the difference in quality and hopefully detour potential changes in the quality of this one.

I feel the need to write a review due to the positive feedback by people. I've worked in the Security Field for over 10 years and have used radios the entire time. I've never ran into a problem with more expensive earpieces and thought I would try a cheaper route this time. Everything about the earpiece seemed great. Perfect Length (tough for me as I'm 6'6) and seemed to be good quality. The Mic is where their is an issue. When using the radio the earpiece was clear and I could hear everyone but when I used my mic they said it was unbearable to listen to and they could not understand anything I said. I also noticed the clicking portion of the mic would stick a bit. I would give more stars to the product but ultimately this is a device about two way communication and with this ear piece it becomes only one way. So I have to give it one star as it does not do what it is made to do.
