1998 C2500 with 4l80e, at 302k miles, lost reverse.Shifted fine everywhere else, and still engine braked in 1st.This regained reverse gear!

My reverse went out on my 2001 Chevrolet 2500HD. I had all other gears and I was getting estimates on having my 4L80e rebuilt at about $4800 dollars. I was looking on YouTube and I kept seeing how the reverse servo-pin from factory was to short. So for the price I tried this product and for not knowing much about transmissions I was a little taken back. But this worked perfectly it’s been running now for 6 weeks and I am extremely satisfied. I haul heavy trailers and my transmission reverses like it’s brand new for the most part. I have no issues. I will recommend this fix to whom ever has the same issue. Don’t be taken by people who says that the can rebuild your transmission they’re probably doing this same fix.

If reverse is the only gear not working this will fix it. Been driving 4 weeks now and not a problem

Zero instructions supplied, had to use instructions from a different company, the orings were all too big and i could not get the servo pistons back together without damaging the orings! Very disapointed in this product
